We welcome you to Over The Edge. Enjoy the peacefulness, seclusion and the best views on the mountain. First thing to catch your eye is the beautiful scenic view as you walk out on our deck. Enjoy your favorite drink and soak away the bustle of your busy life as you relax in the jacuzzi, watching the clouds roll in and out. It's not hard to figure out why we bought Over The Edge. You can be white water rafting in minutes! You're less than 2.5 miles from The Nantahala Outdoor Center, which offers white water rafting, kayaking and has other water activities for every skill level. Also included are several wonderful restaurants. Ten minutes down the road you’ll find some of the nations best mountain biking at Tsali recreation area. Close by is one of the most beautiful trails in the smoky mountains, an old section of the Appalachian Trail where kids can hunt salamanders and build rock dams in a pristine creek and the energetic can hike to the Wesser Bald fire tower for an astounding view.

This was a great stay...and extremely secluded. I only marked off on cleanliness because of the bugs...which are to be expected in the middle of nature. Every surface that needed to be cleaned was clean.

Somehow I missed that the driveway was gravel when I chose this property. (I would not have chosen it had I realized that.) I arrived shortly after a rain storm and there were places where the rain had apparently carved run offs across the driveway. It was quite harrowing getting up to the cabin. I had trouble working the lock box to be able to get the key, but the host was very responsive and quickly talked me thru it. All that being said, the view from the cabin was worth it all! Just beautiful! The cabin was very clean and comfortable with everything I needed, but a little worn in places. The whole point of my trip was to be able to get away by myself and just relax with a good book and a view of the mountains and I was definitely able to accomplish that.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay- the views from the deck are amazing! The cabin is very secluded and quiet. The drive up to the cabin on the gravel road is a little rough but it’s worth the trip to get the view! The hot tub is nice at night to relax and enjoy the stars. Hope to visit again sometime!

View was amazing, cabin needs some attention. The deck needs fresh coat of paint with some boards needing replaced, and really needs a pressure wash- very slick. Patio furniture needs replaced- broken unable to use, cusions for seats moldy. Very dusty inside w pet hair on furniture, beds were small but comfortablefor the most part.. Nice size cabin for 2-4 people. Drive up was scary and a little difficult to find but once found it was easy from there.
