The living room couch was uncomfortable. But that was all.

Very nice location. Private, very clean and very comfortable. We stayed in a studio (cabin 4 -this was our 2nd stay at Nantahala) it is very cozy. Perfect for the 2 of us celebrating my partners birthday. The hot tub was awesome. The cabin has a full kitchen stocked with pots/ pans/ plates/ cups/ utensils/ coffee pot/microwave/toaster and some baking pans. You only need to bring whatever food and seasonings you want to prepare. There's also a grill (charcoal) outside with a fire pit, picnic table, bench and prep table. It's a great place to relax and unwind. It's only about 25 min to the Cherokee Casino. There are lots of activities around the area for spring/summer that have shuttles or buses. We came in November and we're just looking for laid back relaxing time and that's what we got. Another thing I like is the owners will match whatever tip left for the staff which I think is wonderful! We look forward to coming back again!
That we couldn't stay longer.

Something that I like about the property is that is was clean and my kids loved the hut tub.

Nice location overall. Not far from various outdoor activities. The back deck was relaxing to sit and rock. The hot tub was nice as well. I would stay here again.
The path to the cabin was a bit of a challenge. My truck has a long wheelbase, and the “S” shaped narrow gravel path was a challenge. Also after getting to the cabin, turning the truck back around was a chore. I would still stay here again. I would choose a different cabin, to fit my truck better.

Very comfortable, well-appointed facilities in a nice wooded area. Convenient location to Nantahala Outdoor Center, Great Smoky Mountains, and Bryson City. All sorts of river and hiking activities. We visited several waterfall sites, Joyce Kilmer Memorial Forest, and did the Nantahala whitewater rafting trip. We also enjoyed the train trip up the Nantahala Gorge and back. Not a bad week for two old foggies in their 80s.If you enjoy outdoor activities, this is a great place and location.
Need a headboard or shelf at the head of the beds, and a small chest of drawers to store clothes.

The best part of this little cabin is what is on the outside; the deck is very pleasant with two rocking chairs and a nice teak table. The fire pit and charcoal grilling facilities along with the picnic table made for fun evenings outside. The cabins are surrounded by huge trees and forests and the split rail fencing makes for a beautiful setting.
The interior of what should have been a cozy and charming cabin is very poorly furnished. Two queen beds and a futon gobble up allmost the entire space of the cabin, great if your sleeping six, but not so great for two. There are no dressers at all, so we had to live out of suitcases laid on the extra bed. The kitchen is fine but needs serious upgrades to it's pots and pans.

Cabin #4 - Gone Paddling! - was great for our family of four (but we should note that one of our teens slept on a blowup bed that we brought along). The location is super for visiting Bryson City, SMNP, Nantahala Gorge, etc. The cabin is outfitted with all the basic needs. They provide a lot of towels and paper goods, which is always a plus for me, especially when I don't have access to laundry or housekeeping services. The hot tub was a huge hit and even though it was hot outside, we used it every day after hiking, biking, and rafting. The AC worked great, so it was always a nice temp in the cabin. The managers/owners were super responsive to our inquiries. There was firewood for sale on site. There is a funky/cute bar and ice cream shop just minutes away by car.
Nothing really. The primary bed was soft for us, but that is subjective. The grill was rusted through and fell apart while we were trying to use it, but I think that was just because it was on its final leg. I told the owner, and they said they'd replace it. The cabin backs up to the main road, which experiences frequent traffic. The noise didn't bother us, but it might bother other people.

We loved the simplicity of the Cabins. All the modern amenities you needed to be comfortable without alot of clutter or over decorating. They let the natural cabin and it's location speak for itself. The rocking chairs and the hot tub on the back porch just made this rental perfect!! Great communication and the ease of lockboxes made it even more desirable.
Getting to the cabin after dark on the uphill gravel switchback road in a prius was an adventure. Made it, but suggest you arrive before dark for checkin. There is one location to turn around if renting cabin 3 or 4 and when we went to leave, cabin staff was parked in the backup area making us have to back all the way out to the property road before turning around.

It was everything I was looking forward to. Clean cabins, well maintained grounds, scenic views, close to lots of outdoor activities. The hot tub was very nice after a long day adventuring. The owners were friendly, and checked on us to make sure we were happy. They even gave us a complimentary bottle of wine, and fresh baked cookies! We also enjoyed the fire pit, and bbq area. Definitely worth the trip, and I look forward to going back again!
I don't have any dislikes.

Hot tub and location to Nantahala and Tail of the Dragon. Rooms were very comfortable.
The dirt road leading up to the cabins can be tricky after a heavy rain, but they’re not impossible to drive.

Breakfast in Bryson City was wonderful also lunch and dinner was very good. The little town had so many shops alot of food trucks and all the folks was super nice and made you feel like you were part of their family. Will most certainly be back.

Our cabin we chose was awful not as described it was dirty very old furniture that looked like they picked it up for free from the dump. The beds was old hard as a rock could not rest comfortably made our bodies sore and we all had aches and pains the whole weekend. It was supposed to be a relaxing fun weekend anything but. I would tell anybody to stay away from the Natahala cabins do not rent from these folks they have a no cancelation policy which I should of seen this as a problem cause once you have stayed there they know you will never return and you needed a 4 wheel drive to get up the hill to the first cabin if we had got a different cabin which I think we were supposed to have #8 cabin instead of the nightmare we had. Bad cabin experience just to let everyone out there know not to rent from Natahala cabins. No cancelation no comfortable bed and dirty end of story. Thanks Pat England sad about our cabin experience

cute little cabin. Bed was comfortable. Water was hot and good pressure. Nice clean hot tub.
The pillows were rather flat. I would have preferred a cabin that did not look over other cabins.
