THE BUILDING
Loupiac is one of the beautiful apartments in our exclusive building on the charming Place Dauphine square. Right in the heart of the city on the Ile de la Cité, Place Dauphine is a historic location, having been built in 1610 at the request of Kind Henri IV. You will be surrounded by history while enjoying every modern convenience. State of the art elevator, separate washer and dryer, high security digital locks and double-glazed windows for good sound insulation allows guests to enjoy contemporary comforts in a remarkable 17th century setting.
THE APARTMENT
Located on the fourth floor, the one-bedroom Loupiac boasts a comfortable queen bed, en suite bathroom, a powder room and a fully equipped kitchen. Enjoy a romantic dinner at your home away from home or snuggle up with some French wine and take in the Parisian scenes just outside your window.
THE AREA
Just outside your door is one of the most coveted secret spots in Paris, the beautiful Place Dauphine. The square is lined with historic buildings from the early 1600s and is full of trees and a few perfectly placed benches to sit and enjoy the atmosphere. It is also a popular spot for locals to play a game of pétanque, which you can enjoy watching in the square or just listen to the soft clink of the steel balls used in the traditional French game from your window. The area is also popular with lawyers who work nearby at the Palais de Justice, so there are excellent cafés and restaurants to enjoy!
Staying in the Ile de la Cité puts you right in the middle of Paris; it’s even called “Kilometre Zero”! You are within walking distance of all of the best sights, museums, shopping spots and best neighborhoods to explore. Also on Ile de la Cité are the stunning Notre Dame Cathedral and incredible stained-glass windows of Saint Chapelle. Across the river on the Right Bank are the Louvre and the beautiful Tuileries gardens. Along the Seine on the Left Bank is the Musée D’Orsay and a little further south is the stylish Saint Germain area and the cobblestoned streets of the Latin Quarter. We stayed two weeks here on Place Dauphine. We knew this location from prior Paris visits. Quiet, peaceful, yet vibrant with tourists and bocce ball games. Great restaurants on both sides. The apartment is compact. You need to keep it tidy like a boat. Well appointed, modern, and they deliver baguettes every morning...how great is that! We loved it, and will rent again.

Apartment was cute - every extra that was listed worked and was helpful (washer/dryer, blow dryer, dishwasher). They also had toiletries like paper towel and toilet paper -- we had bought some extra to replace what we used as well. There were fresh baguettes downstairs in lobby each morning which was a charming plus. Extra towels and blankets would have been helpful. Apartment only had sheet provided on bed with one comforter. No extra pillows anywhere either - 2 on bed. That said, if you have anyone sleep on the sleeper in main living area, you would need to get extra blankets locally. Place was clean. Would come back again for sure.
