An immaculately presented selfcontained annexe. Lounge area has large windows overlooking garden containing trees shrubs and open countryside. Modern settee and chair, 42in TV and DVD player. King side bed and professionally fitted bedroom furniture. Bathroom with double walk in shower. Kitchen containing a full range of modern units, built in oven, microwave, hob, fridge/freezer, and washing machine. Outside Patio and seating area. Off road parking.

The place was very clean, and Jean, the host, was ready with any questions we had. With her recommendation, we utilized the Park and Ride just down the road for the two days we went into York. It was the perfect place for a break in driving from Scotland and we thoroughly enjoyed both the place and the host... she was very friendly and helpful. The annexe was beautifully clean - carpet in the main area rather than the hard flooring that many properties have these days - (although I understand why as it's probably easier to clean than carpet) however, that made it very cosy & so warm. Everything was lovely, I can't think of anything that was missing, the attention to detail was 1st class. Jean, George & not forgetting Buddy -were lovely hosts, available if you needed anything but not intrusive. If I'm up that way again for any reason, I'd love to visit again
