About this apartment rental
We offer you a prestigious apartment located in one of the most suggestive areas of Venice, the Sant'Elena gardens in the Castello district, the area that can be defined as the green heart of the city. Very close to the Biennale Gardens, Ca del Parco can be reached very easily from the Sant'Elena vaporetto stop. Stopping on one of the balconies of the apartment you can be caressed by the lagoon breeze and your gaze get lost among the pine forest and the blue lagoon.

Loved the apartment. Quiet and nice view of trees in the park. There is an interior room too. Really cool kitchen and living room. The apartment also has a washing machine. The water taxi is right outside.

We loved the location. It is close to a water bus stop (we bought day passes for our three day stay). It is very far from the train station and a decent distance from San Marco. Both of these were positive attributes for us. A handful of good local dining choices are a 10-15 minute walk from the apartment. It was quiet but not completely isolated.
The apartment is amazing. Very high ceilings, plenty of natural light, and the balcony doors open easily. They had a coffee maker and fresh coffee ready for us. The lift works and the building was very quiet.
If you have never slept on a traditional futon, be prepared for the hardest night of your life. The mattress is really hard and totally unforgiving. We dreaded going to bed the second night. The futon is right there in the pictures so we were warned. I guess futons in the US are different.
Overall we really enjoyed the views and location. The host’s decorations were basic and perfunctory The architecture and natural old world charm of the building far outweigh any criticism, however. We had a great time and felt safe and comfortable here.
