To ensure the long-term comfort of our guests, the Waikiki Grand Hotel will be undergoing vital plumbing improvements from mid-July through late December 2026, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. With no work on Weekends, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, or Christmas Day. Daytime noise and activity should be expected.
● Please note that our rates have already been significantly discounted for this period, and no additional discounts before, during or after will be given. If you’re planning to spend your daytime relaxing inside the hotel, we recommend checking dates outside this window to ensure you have the best experience possible.
● Since most of the activity occurs during the day, it’s the perfect excuse to spend your 8-to-5 hours exploring the beauty of Waikiki Beach, hiking Diamond Head, or enjoying local excursions!
● If your travel plans require a quiet environment during daytime hours, we completely understand and suggest considering alternative dates so you can fully enjoy your stay with us!

My place is close to Waikiki Beach and overlooks Kapiolani park with awesome views of Diamond Head & the Pacific Ocean!
There's local art every Sunday on the Art wall of the Zoo,
Hulas bar and Lei stand is located within the building.
🛍We are close to all the great shopping, island transport routes, surfing, great food, and nightclubs.
You’ll love my place because of the people, the local ambiance, the neighborhood, and most importantly the location!

Quick Getaway to Waikiki. Place was small but the location & proximity to beach, activities, dining, & nightlife was awesome!! Only thing it needs is a few beach chairs! We'd stay here again and recommend it for short stay!! Thanks for the opportunity to stay!!

Location was good...room needs some updating bit we honestly were not in it thst much. Bed was SUPER comfortable! Atea is very busy...sometimes loud. But iverall, a great value in a very expensive city!

Beach view was good. You have to look to the right to see the beach. Look to the left and you Diamond Head. Our room looked right down on the Honolulu zoo. Room was good size for a couple. You are right in the middle of Waikīkī so it can get noisy at night. The parking garage is small but conveniently right under the hotel

Apartment has a great view, but it is dated and worse than the pictures. Wifi information provided was actually for another unit, we kept trying to connect and it was not working. Eventually we realized the unit number is wrong, and basically guessed what the password should be. Unit owner never responded to any of our messages, not in 5 days we were there. The room chairs looked really dirty, and balcony windows were not cleaned in the long time, I had to clean them myself with paper towels. Overall I feel the view and location outweight the negatives, but would have been much more pleasant experience with better communication and room cleanliness.
