The place was great and our host left a bed and food/ water bowls specifically for my pups! Loved that part. Was easy to get around downtown and the condo was very clean/sheek. Thank you!

Very clean and cozy apartment! I appreciated having the black out shades and drapes throughout the apartment to help with the local street lights.

The unit that we stayed in was nice and clean.
The house-less situation was our only concern. We knew this ahead of time because the owner was very clear in the property description. Please make sure you read it.
We had pets (who didn't end up coming anyway!?!) so we were limited to places to stay. This unit was clean and cared for. Usually "pet friendly" places are a little run down. This was NOT the case.
As of June 2024:
The houseless people were in large numbers at times (30 or more), and I seen a gentleman sitting on the properties front steps. I had to cross paths with someone yelling to themselves and he was wearing a large knife on his hip. I also saw others swinging a baseball bats. This did make me feel uncomfortable. I also came upon many who returned my smile and were extremely pleasant.
We stayed 2 nights and the fire police and the cops were present (that I seen twice) NOW, I am not complaining, I am only sharing my experience BECAUSE I want everyone to have a great stay in Asheville.
I hope this is found to be helpful. I do not mean any disrespect in anyway. I am truly grateful to the selfless folks who have a heart for helping others!
