About this house rental
Heron House is located at the beautiful Pointe West resort on the west end of Galveston Island. Pointe West is a master planned development with private beach and is a one-of-a-kind location on the island. Our home is backs to a relaxing water feature and is a 5 minute walk to the beach. You also have access to resort-style amenities at the Beach Club with pools, a lazy river, hot tub, nature walk, restaurant, bar, fitness center, pickleball, bike rentals, and more! The Beach Club charges $25.00 per person (4 and older) for the length of your stay.
Our home is designed to make you and your family comfortable. Smart TVs are in the living room and all three bedrooms. We have the fastest WiFi speed available on the island. Feel free to pack light, we have a washer and dryer for you to do a quick load of laundry.
Downstairs in the garage you will find everything you need for the beach; chairs, canopy tent, boogie boards and a wagon to take it all with you. You will also find a patio underneath the house complete with picnic table, chairs, hammock, and a charcoal grill for your use. For those of you with small children, we have a stroller and pack-n-play for your convenience.
Seven Seas Grocery Store is the closest fully stocked grocery store and is 7 miles from the house. The Strand, Pleasure Pier, Academy Sports, Walmart, Randalls, and the rest of Galveston is approximately 30 minutes from the house.

Our family had a wonderful time at this house! We truly enjoyed the amenities, especially the use of the golf cart, board games, and beach gear! Such a lovely, clean, well stocked home for a vacation. Would love to stay here again!

Great stay close to the beach! The house was clean had everything that we needed- even fun family games and books to read and it was a short walk to the beach. The golf cart was wonderful and all of the beach items were amazing. We did not have to bring any beach items as everything was provided-chairs, canopy, shovels, toys, beach towels etc. We loved the hammock and chairs downstairs and the water feature was beautiful to listen to at night while grilling. We would stay here again. Just a heads up that the mosquitoes were awful two nights of our stay-so bring repellent.

A house close to the beach that has everything you need (minus food). Great to have a place that is friendly to dogs. They provide bug spray, but won’t fault you for bringing extra.

My daughter and I loved this home. Decorated very nicely, extremely comfortable and appreciated the “extras”. We could tell our comfort was very important. Laura communicated very well. She even provided restaurant suggestions for celebrating my daughter’s birthday. The beach was so close! Will definitely recommend this home to our family and friends.
