About this apartment rental
Always rated amongst the top 5 beaches (even #1 many years in a row) in the country and sometimes in the world. We invite you to stay in our spacious newly remodeled and renovated 2 bed/2.5 bath townhouse condo located on Midnight Pass Rd. directly across the street from the beautiful (#1 rated beach in the USA) "Siesta Key Beach"!! Our beautiful condo boasts all the conveniences of your own home. A welcome respite awaits you with our freshly renovated kitchen, updated baths, very high quality furnishings, 70" led TV in living room, 46" led tv's in each bedrooms with free wifi and multiple movie channels, 3 furnished patios and luxury linens for all beds. Our condo is a very large unit at nearly 1400 square feet. Bedroom 1 has a king size bed, bedroom 2 has 2 single beds and living room has a queen size pull out sofa.
The Bay Oaks resort is set amidst lush, tropical foliage on the Intracoastal Waterway, directly across from the Gulf of Mexico and world-famous Crescent/Siesta Beach with its soft, cool, sugar-white sand. Siesta Beach recently earned the title as the #1 Best Beach in America for 2011. Enjoy shelling, jogging, windsurfing, beach volleyball, or just sunning on this beautiful beach. The main entrance being a short 1 min away by car (1 mile).
Convenience stores and several great dining establishments are only a short stroll to the hidden treasure of Siesta Key Village. You can also hitch a free ride (tips appreciated) to Siesta Key Village where a wide range of shopping and dining fun awaits. Or, hop in your car and explore the local attractions of Sarasota and St. Armand's Circle. By car, many excellent local golf courses await those who like to hit the links.
Public beach access is a short 1/4 mile away with plenty of parking and shops and multiple beach access points are all along Midnight Pass Road. Beach Access:
- The main “public access” parking lot is a very short 1-2-minute drive from our unit. You can either take a “free” taxi or the Trolly Service directly from the front of our complex or use your own vehicle. You would simply make a right upon exiting the parking lot at bay Oaks and head north for about 1/3 mile or two traffic lights and the main entrance is on your left side.
Beach Access:
Walking option- the closest walking access to our unit is “Beach Access 12” which is located 0.7 miles south on Midnight Pass Rd.. It is approximately an 8-10 min walk.
If you prefer not to walk, the trolly and taxi service is free on the Island. The trolly runs very often (usually every 10 min.) and stops right next to our complex entrance.
The main public beach (Siesta Key Beach) is approximately 1/2 mile (2 traffic lights) heading north on Midnight Pass Rd.
Serenity abounds in calm, aqua waters and miles of the most exquisite quartz crystal sand. Charter boats, fishing equipment, jet ski rentals, kayak/paddleboard rentals, para-sailing, and bike rentals are all available across the street. For the convenience of our guests, we provide all the items needed for the beach including a beach cart, umbrella, chairs, beach toys, and towels. When you stay at condo, all you need is a swim suit and flip-flops and you are ready for a Siesta Key beach vacation.
Siesta Key is truly a little slice of heaven for everyone in the family from grandparents to young children. Whether you are staying for months to escape the northern winters or taking a short getaway to relax and rejuvenate. Come and chill with us in Siesta Key!

Loved the proximity to the beach. The beautiful white sandy beaches and warm clear water. What else could you want?

Perfect for what we wanted. Spent most of our time at the beach. They haveva dock in the back. Great for your coffee in the mornings, or kids to fish. Walkable to shops dunner,dinnet

Host provided information in timely manner. Main bath had to fill tub with shower head, plumbing needs to be replaced. Other bath shower had mold, in rough condition, did not use it. Unit was okay, but not worth 3000 per week! We had greater expectations. Would not recommend to others, nor come back. As a side note, HBO did not work, other apps need to be updated and we could not watch the Super Bowl, unable to get NBC channel, too bad, just needed a basic tv antenna!
