Our three week stay at Mandarou was a wonderful opportunity to remember that it’s the sights, sounds, and scents of the countryside that provide the best opportunities to relax and enjoy every moment of life.
Exploration of the bastides, many within 30 - 90 minutes of Mandarou, provides many opportunities to explore the history of the area.
Bike rides and walks through the many quiet country roads was a highlight of our visit, with something new spotted around every corner.
The night skies are uninterrupted with light, so star gazing is an amazing experience.
Joel and Chantal were wonderful hosts! Both were always welcoming and very helpful. They embody the essence is Mandarou.
In short, our visit was everything and more that we hoped for.

Family of 6adults stayed for a long weekend for a local family wedding. Our hosts could not have been more helpful or charming and the gite had everything we needed.
