About this house rental
Located directly on the sand, with a comfortable, West Coast Chic vibe, this 6BR house offers expansive views of the Delaware Bay from nearly every room! On the ground floor, you’ll find a dining area large enough for the whole family, an open kitchen with sliding doors out to the bay, and a gorgeous sun room with wall-to-wall windows, all with full water views in every direction. You’ll also find two queen bedrooms on the ground floor, sharing a full hall bath with a large jetted tub and glass enclosed shower. Outdoors, enjoy an expandable outdoor dining table that seats up to 20, a fully fenced in yard for kids and pets to play, a climbing dome, lounge chairs in the sand, adirondacks surrounding the gas fire pit, and direct gated access to the beach! At the top of the main stairs is a second full bath with jetted tub, separate shower, and a wide open view of the bay. To your left, is a large queen bedroom with dresser, sitting area, and another beautiful water view. To your right is an even larger bedroom with two queen beds, a desk area, couch, TV, and bayside balcony access. Remote work just got a little better with a full view of the water! Down the hall, you’ll find a bunkbed room that sleeps 8, with two double beds in each, beanbag chairs, and a TV, so you can put a movie on and let the kids hang out! At the far end of the hall, you’ll find the primary king suite with TV, sitting area, separate bathroom with stall shower, and sliding glass doors to the cozy furnished balcony overlooking the beach- our favorite place to watch the sunset! We provide beach chairs, sand toys, and other amenities to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Please review the Welcome Book for additional important information upon booking. LINENS: Comforters and pillows remain in the home; Linen Ladies of Cape May (linenladies.com) delivers freshly washed duvet covers, sheets, and towels; choose the Whole House Package (linenladies.com/product/601-delaware-ave), select items á la cart, or you’re welcome to bring your own if you’d prefer. We just returned home after a beautiful week at this property. The views and the size of the house were 10 out of 10. The back deck, yard and access to the Bay beach were beyond compare. The size of the house was wonderful for our many family members. We are multigenerational, including senior citizens and little babies. We fit beautifully, we were 13 adults, ages 22-86 and three children ages 4 mos-4 years . There was more than enough room with the six bedrooms, extremely large dining table and sunny living room. Each bedroom was spacious and accommodated all of our items easily. We used the fire pit and the barbecue grill. The grill was very large and new and awesome. Fire pit was a great addition and easy to use. The house was accommodating but could use some updating and a deep clean for the price we paid. The kitchen was stocked except for large baking sheets. The Villas is a very quiet neighborhood. We walked for ice cream but there is nothing going on otherwise. We had to drive for everything. Crystal was very accommodating and quick to respond. There was an issue with one bannister and she had handyman out to the house within a day.

The view was beautiful, blessed with beautiful weather for a beaitiful sunset. The size of the house was perfect, loved that we all had our own space. Extra fridge/freezer in the garage was clutch. Crystal was a great host, very flexible and quick to answer any question I had.

The home is spacious, beautifully decorated, was directly in the beach, and had amazing views. There were plenty of beds, pillows, and blankets, and the beds were comfortable. The home was set-up well for a large group, providing adequate parking, and large spaces where we could all eat and lounge together. We loved being just a sand dune away from the water. However, there were a few things that made our trip a little less relaxing. Although lines were listed as included on vrbo amenities, linens were a separate expense booked through an outside vendor. This changed the cost of the rental for our party, added extra overhead to planning, and required making our own beds when we arrived. We were looking for a place with a hottub, and this listing was included in the search. There is no hottub, I’m not sure if it is a bug with vrbo, or an issue of how the house is listed, or if the jet bathtubs are counted as a hottub.The fire pit also did not work. We had the very end of every household supply (trash bags, dish detergent, toilet paper, laundry detergent). When we reached out regarding this, we were told that they only “start us off” and that we were responsible for the consumable goods beyond that. This added to the mental load of an already logistically complicated and short trip.Overall we had a wonderful time but recommend being prepared with extra supplies.
