Charming historic bungalow built in 1917 in the Carolina Place neighborhood of Downtown Wilmington. A quaint area which offers beautiful tree-lined streets, front porches, sidewalks for walking your dog, pushing a stroller, or simply out for an evening stroll, and a beautiful mix of older and thoughtfully restored homes.
On more than one occasion, I have been told our neighborhood is reminiscent of where "Gilmore Girls" meets "The Andy Griffith Show."
(Interesting tidbit: 2 doors down is the home featured on the former TV show "One Tree Hill"...a VERY popular show filmed in Wilmington with a huge fan base. The home 2 doors down is the home where the show's main character Lucas Scott [played by Chad Michael Murray] lived in the fictitious town of Tree Hill!
Home Features:
* 2 Full Bedrooms - 2 FULL Bathrooms (primary bath includes a clawfoot bathtub and rain showerhead)
* Queen Beds in each bedroom
* Parking for 2 vehicles located in the rear of the home, right at the back door! No fighting for street parking like many of the neighbors.
* Original Hardwood floors and windows
* 10-foot ceilings
* Ceiling fans in both bedrooms, living room and front porch
* Front porch with traditional Southern swing and rockers....ready for coffee or cocktails
* Smart TV's in both bedrooms and living room
* Fully appointed kitchen equipped with a refrigerator w/ ice maker, dishwasher, range, microwave, coffee maker, range, blender, toaster, full-sized washer and dryer and ALL the cookware and dishware you would need to cook a heavenly Thanksgiving meal!
* Sheets and towels included (no additional charge as many other properties do).
* And character that only a 100-year old home has!
* Arrive as late as you wish on check-in day due to an electronic lock system on the back door. No one needs to be present!! Put your mind at ease that you will have your very own unique door lock and alarm code that is unable to be used again after you check-out.

• 1.5 miles to Downtown "Proper" Wilmington Waterfront
• 7 miles to Wrightsville Beach
• A short drive to several other area beaches: Carolina Beach, Kure Beach, Topsail Beach, Hampstead and Holden Beach are just a few
• 3 miles to UNC-Wilmington
• A short Uber drive to over 15+ area breweries and distilleries
• Walking distance (6-7 blocks) to the thriving Cargo District
We cannot stress this enough: Pets are WELCOME and NEVER A PET FEE OR DEPOSIT!!!!!! Our pets are family and we wouldn’t dream of traveling without them. We furnished our home with pets in mind - from the fenced-in front yard, to the minimal carpeting throughout the home, down to the leather living room furnishings. There is even a portable pet gate and doggie bowls available if needed.
So, whether you are visiting Wilmington for the beach, golfing, shopping, antiquing, exploring, fishing, biking, attending a wedding, visiting UNC-W, or just to get away from it all....this home is the perfect location for your Wilmington stay! We hope you will love our home as much as we do!!!!!!

Adorable place. They had everything I could possible need, it was super homey! We enjoyed sitting on the front porch with our pup using the fenced in front yard. Convenient location.

Had a wonderful month's stay at Carolina Cottage. Charming home! Spent many a morning having coffee on the front porch in the rocking chairs or swing. Very safe neighborhood, lots of dog walkers going by, and friendly neighbors.The house is well appointed. Nice TVs in living room and each bedroom. Well supplied kitchen with dishes, utensils, pots, pans, coffee maker, Keurig, toaster. Beautiful woodwork throughout the house, hardwood floors, antiques, nicely decorated.Dena and Darren were great hosts. Very fast to respond to questions or any needs I had while there. I would highly recommend staying here.

Carolina Cozy Cottage was the perfect place for us to stay with our pup. The home is comfortable and in a great location! We enjoyed walking in the neighborhood and how convenient it was to get to everything we wanted to do. There were even supplies for our pup which was great since we forgot his water and food bowl!5/5 stars! I highly recommend this truly cozy cottage.
