About this cottage rental
Older house on a private setting in the country. *The kitchen has just been renovated with new hardwood floor , cabinets, and sink. *New windows and doors throughout the house. *Two bedroom one bath. Extra beds in living room (pullout sofa and a double twin bed. ) 6 beds in all. Sleeps 8. With den and living room also. Washer and dryer. The cottage is in the county on a quiet road. But there are restaurants and gas station just a few minutes away. The cottage is about 10 to 15 minutes from Clemmons, Winston-Salem or Lexington

Enjoyed staying in North Carolina. The location of the Cottage is great. Close to shopping and different tourist attractions throughout NC. The Cottage could use some updating, but overall it was comfortable, like going to visit Grandma!! Thank you for letting my family and I stay in the Cottage for the week.

While there are other houses visible, this property was extremely quiet and relaxing. Great location, "civilization" easily accessible...just a short drive.
Hope to stay again when we're more physically mobile (one broken back and one broken leg... hopefully we'll be fully recovered soon). Plenty of historic sites nearby.

Location was great. Home was reasonable considering the renovations the owner is doing. However, I wasn’t too satisfied with the cleaning. Extra bedding was dirty, and the couches, floors, covers already out, under the sofas contained a lot of pet hair. I had to rewash blankets just to know that it was “clean”. So I give the overall stay 5.5
