About this farm stay rental
In our 19th century farmhouse, we welcome you to a warm gite located in a completely rural setting just 10 minutes from Versailles!
For a relaxing weekend, a few days or several weeks of rest, a change of scenery guaranteed within 20 km of Paris! Friends riders, we can welcome you with your mounts!
Small independent house, the cottage we offer is planned for 5 people and includes 80 m²:
ground floor
1 fully equipped kitchen with washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, oven
1 living-dining room (with TV-DVD player) overlooking the garden
1 double bedroom
1 bathroom (shower and heated towel rail) and WC
1st floor
1 bedroom with 3 single beds
1 bathroom (bath and heated towel rail) and WC
You can enjoy the private enclosed garden of 100 m² offering an unobstructed view of the hilly fields of the Versailles plain.
Garden table and chairs, as well as barbecue are provided.
Bikes are available on request.
Farmers in love with our profession, we will be keen to explain to guests who want it how our farm works. We will show you around our farm and depending on the season, you can attend the field work and get on the machines!
The Plaine de Versailles is a true green and countryside setting just 20 km from Paris.
For history buffs, the Palace of Versailles is of course a must. It can be reached from the farm in 15 minutes by bicycle.
For culture fans, you can take advantage of the many cinemas, concert halls and theaters in the surrounding area.
Sports enthusiasts will appreciate the possibilities offered all around the farm, with in particular a great diversity of golf courses and swimming pool.
The riders will stroll in the countryside with delight. We are also located on the equestrian hiking loop No. 7 of the General Council of Yvelines.
Nature lovers will enjoy the many walks possible all around the farm and can reach the forest 3.5 km away.
The best way to access the gîte is by car. However, Vaucresson train station is a 10-minute drive away. We can pick you up. After, everything is easily accessible by bike.

My family and I just returned from an absolutely wonderful stay at Ferme de Pontaly! Cécile and Alexandre are fantastic hosts - always available to answer all of your questions and making sure you are always comfortable. We live in a busy suburb of Washington DC and it was nice to get away and relax in the French countryside. We enjoyed waking up every morning to the sound of chickens and horses. We also enjoyed our farm tour with Cécile, and talking with her about their organic farming practices, and learning about the history of the land since they are very near Versailles. The cottage is also just a short distance away from train stations that will take you right into Paris for sightseeing.
The cottage itself is just as described in the listing - clean and comfortable - with everything you need for an enjoyable stay.
My daughter is an equestrian and she was able to book a ride in the countryside with the equestrian center next door. Otherwise, there are miles of hiking trails around the property for lovely evening or morning walks.
We highly recommend booking a stay here!

The Ferme de Pontaly is a lovely property very close to Paris with miles of walking/running/biking trails along the picturesque fields and pastures. Children will love visiting the horses, sheep, goats and chickens. The "cottage" is a sweet, small, clean and functional abode, perfect for a family of four. The kitchen has everything you need to cook and there is a BBQ outback for grilling. The large garden, which centers around two apple trees, has views of the horse pastures and is a perfect spot for outdoor meals. Cécile and Alexandre are great hosts and were readily available when we needed advice or had questions. We recommend a carriage ride with Johan and the fresh eggs from the farm! We hope to come back soon.

The perfect place to stay if you want to visit Paris or Versailles. Although close to these touristy hotspots, you can still enjoy the peaceful countryside and let your children roam the farm's premises. Ours delighted in the horses and made friends with Jacky, the farm's dog. The friendly owner, Cécile, was always ready to help and made us feel even more welcome. We would come back anytime and can only recommend it to others.

We had a wonderful time in this quiet cottage. The setting is simply charming - a little cottage on a farm. The owners are very nice and welcoming. (Cécile speaks perfect English.) We booked the cottage for our visit in Paris & Versailles and we were so happy to come back to this peaceful haven every night after the craziness of the city and the main tourist attractions.
Highly recommended!!!
