Gite Moulin de Saint Sibournet Aux Portes du Périgord

The Mill is absolutely gorgeous both inside and out. The furnishings are lovely and the whole place is very comfortable. The terrace on the front overooking the river is the perfect place to relax and watch the nature of the dragonflies, butterflies, fish and birds in the beautiful trees that provide lovely shade on the hottest of days, whist listening to the waterfall just by the bridge. The back garden with the pool is amazing and a nice private space to enjoy also. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen has all the amenities you could need. Patrick is a great host, very welcoming and helpful upon our arrival and throughout our stay and was on hand any time we needed him. The location between Monpazier and Villareal and other surrounding towns is excellent for visiting and experiencing all that the local area has to offer. Not too far from the airport and an easy drive to attractions further away as well. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

What a fantastic place. The house itself is lovely and only recently converted. The main living area which incorporates the kitchen is huge with all mod cons. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The three bedrooms are all doubles and beautifully decorated. The bathrooms were all spotless with two showers and three toilets. The house has amazing outdoor spaces, on one side is a private outdoor pool with loungers and table, the other side has a patio area overlooking the river. So scenic and relaxing. The location was also great, 30 mins from Bergerac airport and in between the wonderful towns of Villereal and our favourite Monpazier. The owner, Patrick was so friendly and helpful. A real find and thank you for having us.
