About this apartment rental
Set in the stunning resort of Puerto de Mogan, Gran Canaria, a short walk from the Marina and the Beach, this 103sq. metre (1109sq. foot) apartment in Ribera del Puerto, Unit 1, boasts 2 large double Bedrooms (one with Queen size bed and other two Singles), two family size Bathrooms, Utility Room (with washing machine, washing basket and airer), a large family terrace (East facing with sunshine from morning through to late afternoon) and a small secluded balcony from the master bedroom creating a natural breeze. The apartment also comes with a secure car parking space within the garage on the ground floor of the apartment block at no extra charge.
This immaculate apartment has a beautifully furnished, spacious open plan Living / Dining area (incl Smart TV, Global Channels, Netlix, Wifi ), a solid Oak Dining table and a high specification Kitchen including oven, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, freezer and coffee machine. This contemporary space leads onto a 24sq. metre (250sq. foot) private terrace via full-length sliding glass doors, creating a seamless transition between indoor and outdoor living, whist offering fine views of the resort, valley, and the sea.

Puerto de Mogan is a picturesque resort and fishing village in the municipality of Mogán, set at the mouth of a steep-sided valley on the south-west coast of the island of Gran Canaria. Canals linking the marina to the fishing harbour have led to it being nicknamed "Little Venice" or the "Venice of the Canaries". The beach has a very good reputation and is ideal for couples and families alike. A variety of outstanding restaurants and bars fringe the marina (scene of Jet2 Holiday TV Advert) and the beach front, allowing you to enjoy the spectacular sunsets thought by many to be the "best in the Canary Islands".
Puerto de Mogan attracts visitors for its beauty and relaxed vibe. Every Friday it is also host to the finest and largest market on the island, spanning from the Avenue to the beach, harbour walls and as far as the Lighthouse Bar & Restaurant with views along the coastline. Other visitors to the resort include the likes of A list actors John Travolta, Samuel Jackson, Jason Statham and Demi Moore, as well as Spanish footballer David Silva.

Please note that "Ribera del Puerto" apartments are just after Las Palmeras apartments and before the following Pedestrian Crossing, on the right hand side. The glass entrance door has an intercom and the apartment number is Apt 1. The glass entrance door has number 21 above it. Should you be using a hire car, the white coloured electric garage entrance and internal Car Park (complementary for our guests) is also just before the Pedestrian Crossing on the right hand side.
The staff at Ribera del Puerto, Apartment 1, are native English speaking and are very happy to help with any further requirements or questions you may have.

There are plenty of Sport Fishing trips available from Puerto de Mogan harbour just a short walk to the apartment, offering various types of fishing (depending on season, including trawling to Deep Sea fishing and Drifting. The experienced crews provide the opportunity to catch (and often release) Atlantic Blue Marlin, White Marlin, Spearfish, Big Eye Tuna, Longfin Tuna, Barracuda, Wahoo, Dolphinfish (mahi mahi), Bonito, Snappers, Blue fish and so on...
Glass Bottom Boat Taxi:
There are regular Glass Bottom Boat Taxi's from Mogan Port to various resorts along the South Coast of Gran Canaria, including Anfi del Mar and Puerto Rico. These boats offer a great way to visit parts of the island without the need to hire a car.

Palmitos Park is a 20-hectare botanical garden, aviary and zoo near Maspolomas just 25 min drive from the apartment. Palmitos Park is like a window to the natural wonders of the world that is open under the lovely warming sun at the south of Gran Canaria. This site also offers a wide range of facilities and shows, and will guarantee an unforgettable day out for the whole family. A large amphitheatre looks out over a pool where dolphins will display great agility and intelligence with back-flips that will take the audience’s breath away. The same goes for the parrot shows, plus performances by birds of prey and other exotic birds. It's a great day out for the entire family!

The designer, Roland Favré (an associate of Trent Jones), made good use of the rolling terrain and natural ravines to create an excellent test of golf that players of all handicappers will be able to appreciate. Holes across the course offer tees of alternating heights, and the course is known for its deceiving wide fairways with small greens. Our second visit to Simon’s beautiful apartment . We love the location and the open, airy feel it has. We stayed for two weeks and spent time either on the lovely large terrace with electronic canopy or at the beach which is a few minutes walk away. The apartment is immaculate and we were met by Audrey and Bill who made us welcome.We appreciated the use of the car parking under the apartment for the hire car. The Spar store across the road is excellent and sells freshly baked baguettes etc. The rooms have large fans and the back bedroom was lovely and cool. The walk in shower was great and much appreciated. The two bathrooms are both modern. Communication with Simon and Audrey was helpful and prompt.We would definitely recommend this apartment and hope to use it again in the future.

2nd time staying at this lovely apartment. Beautiful space with a great balcony. Central, but quiet location! Would love to visit in Jan/Feb, but always seems permanently booked then.

The apartment is spacious, well equipped and comfortableA 5 minute walk takes you to the beach, excellent restaurants and shops. It's particularly handy to have a Spar Supermarket across the road. We hired a car for the duration of our holiday and the private space in the underground car park was appreciated. The bus station and taxi rank opposite the apartment block would be handy for those not wishing to use a hire car as would the boat taxi which takes you along the coast to other resorts. All in all a fine place for a relaxing holiday

We arrived around 5.30pm & shown the apartment which looked lovely but so hot! 30 To be fair we had come during a Calima!Ceiling fans in bedrooms, but only one was working and no free standing fan available. After speaking with the owner he will be addressing this and fitting some aircon and sorting curtains which wouldn’t pull. If you are a light sleeper you may find the refuse collections very early am to be disruptive! Sorry Simon
