About this cabin rental
Looking for cabin life with mountain views 15min from Asheville? The Asheville Getaway Cabin is for you! This 3 bed 2 bath with 2 full kitchens comfortably sleeps 8. The open kitchen/living room offers an excellent space to make a meal and memories with friends or family. If you need some “alone time”, there is plenty of space inside and out to find your own serenity. The full-size pool table and arcade table in the loft ensure you or your guest will not be bored. The Blue Ridge Parkway is a short drive from the house as well as Black Mountian. You can relax at the end of a long day exploring The Biltmore Estate in the Hot Tub or taking in the view from the deck. If you are looking to get away to nature but still be close to everything The Asheville Getaway Cabin is for you! While our house sits up higher, we do still have neighbors next to us and across the street.
PLEASE NOTE: OUR INDOOR FIREPLACE IS CURRENTLY OUT OF ORDER!!! Sorry for any inconvenience. THERE IS ALSO A HOT TUB IN THE DRIVEWAY THAT IS NOT OPERATIONAL. This has been removed from our amenities due to this reason!

The Space:
There are three bedrooms in total.
1. Main Room King Bed
2. Guest Room King Bed
3. Guest Room Bunk Bed twin-size beds.
Kitchen:
There are two full kitchens in the house. Both have Large fridges, Electric stoves, dishwashers, microwaves, Keurig, toasters, and ice makers. The main kitchen island seats up to 4 and the 2nd kitchen offers a table for two. Fully stocked with all cooking utensils, pots, pans, strainers, plates, bowls, glasses, and pretty much anything you would need to make a full meal to enjoy!
Bathrooms:
Main Floor Bathroom— Walk-in shower
Bottom Floor Bathroom- Shower tub combo.
Is fully stocked with shampoo, body wash, blow dryer, and fresh towels and washcloths.
Cleaning:
Washer and dryer located in the downstairs closet, we provide a starter kit of paper towels, dishwashing soap, laundry detergent, broom, and general cleaning supplies.
Entertainment:
Roku TV in the main living room and bottom floor living room. We do not have cable. Feel free to login to your favorite streaming devices.
Outside:
The outside focus is the view, fun, and relaxation! There is an outdoor lounge area with a large couch swing, and an outdoor dining table to enjoy.
Guest access
Our guests have access to the entire property other than a locked closet. The rest of the property, inside and outside, is yours to enjoy.
Other things to note
Quiet hours are 9pm-9am. While it may feel like you are alone in the woods, there are neighbors nearby. Loud noise and music on the deck are not tolerated.
We love animals and welcome all good boys and girls! No more than 2 woofers per stay.
We allow you to bring up to two pets. The pet fee is $25 per pet, per day. Please note that taxes and service fees would be in addition.

If you plan on using the house to have a party, sneak in extra guests, bring animals unannounced, or do other things that disregard the house rules, please read below:
No parties or events are allowed without prior approval. You will immediately lose your security deposit, be charged an additional $500, and must leave if this happens.
Examples:
Booking a stay with 8 people and inviting over 10 additional people for a BBQ.
Booking a stay with 6 people but using the house to host a family reunion, baby shower, graduation party, bachelor/bachelorette party, wedding shower, etc.
Our house rates are based on 6 guests and we can accommodate up to 10 for additional fees. Please be honest and accurate about how many guests stay when you book. The 7th through 10th guests are $25 extra per guest per night. Undisclosed guests will be charged at a rate of $100 per night. Any guests over 8 guests will be charged $250 per night.

Overall it was very nice but was not told that the hot tub was not working which was one of the main reasons I booked. Also was not notified that the WiFi was very spotty continuously going down.

The house is spacious and equipped with everything you need. The kitchen island was nice to eat Breakfast at. Street is very quiet. Located minutes from the grocery store. Streets are narrow in the area but you figure out how to navigate. There is no TV in the master which would be nice. Overall a great stay in this cozy cabin.

Cute cabin in close proximity to the restaurants and attractions. It was spacious and the game room was fun. We were surprised by the condition of the neighborhood (really bad roads and garbage, tarps and work dumpsters everywhere).
For the price point, we also didn’t expect to find laundry in the dryer and a dirty sock under the bed when we arrived. We were doing laundry and changing lightbulbs within an hour of arriving. Cleanliness was an issue—everything needed dusting, the floor wasn’t very clean and there were splashes of something on the side of the refrigerator as well as a Kcup left in the coffee pot. Not having a place to put garbage was an inconvenience as well. We messaged the host and they responded but the issue was not resolved until the day before we left.
Someone was clearing land just feet away from us when we were in the hot tub (not relaxing) and the “Mountain View” was not what we expected at all.
The cabin itself was really nice and the beds were comfortable. Also, receiving a list of household chores on our way out was very different than anything we’ve experienced. We always leave places in good shape, but relying on guests to do laundry is concerning and made us wonder if the comforters ever get washed.
