About this cottage rental
This is a true escape from the rat race, yet with all the conveniences! This cozy and fully 2023 gutted and renovated 3/1 deep water cottage comes with a fenced yard for your fur babies...dogs that is! No need to bring the rat from the race! In just a short, very gentle walk to your own NEW private covered dock with a side sunning area, you can jump into this beautiful cove in the Reedy Creek part of the lake (regarded as the most soft after part of the lake). The cove allows for incredible swimming, paddle boarding, kayaking or water skiing! For home comforts, this home has a king, queen and full / twin bunk bed for smaller family members. The entire family can comfortably enjoy their own space! The kitchen has custom made cabinets, farm sink, new higher-end appliances all while enjoying a view of the lake. After night hits, if you're not enjoying a sunset cruise, relaxing over dinner on the expansive full length covered/screened patio or making S'mores on the outside fire pit, you can enjoy your favorite game or movie on the 77" OLED TV in the Living Room. The King and Queen bedrooms also have their own TVs in each room. After a full day of play or relaxing, the extra large shower will be the perfect way to top off the evening as the multi-option spray nozzle will feel like you're actually in the Caribbean under an amazing waterfall. In all seriousness, I renovated this cottage to enjoy as a family, but work has taken me away from the area for two weeks of each month. My loss is your gain and I hope you enjoy it here as much as we have...even before we renovated! You are incredibly close to downtown Hartwell and can actually boat to Clemson from here! Sorry Georgia fans...they don't connect. I bought in this location due to the water and convenience to everything. There is a Dollar General (which has all the "oops I forgot" needs in less than 3 miles), Ingles, Walmart and some incredible restaurants...all within a 1 - 5 mile drive depending on your needs. For our boaters...the Hartwell Marina is a 15 minute boat ride away for gas. We are also very conveniently located in VERY close proximity to the New Prospect Boat Ramp (under 1/4 mile).

quick get- a- way. cabin had all we needed. Some items in the cabin need attention, fan controls, bath room sink , out door flood light. But the biggest problem for us, access to the lake and dock. Not a good path down to the water. needs improvement.
