About this cottage rental

La Samelière is a house located in a hamlet in the heart of the forest, on a long-distance hiking trail CR31, with a landscaped garden of 3000m2, comprising 3 bedrooms, 1 large living room kitchen, equipped with insert fireplace, a high-end veranda of 20 m2 open to nature, supplemented by an underground swimming pool shell of 8mx4m heated to 25/28 °. animals are accepted if absolutely clean, regional decoration in Louis XIII style, tv / wifi, internet, tel, parking for 3 to 4 cars on the property, locked by keys.

Great House and the pool was a bonus. Large garden and very quiet area, yet close enough to Chambord, Ambrose, Blois and the Zoo at Beauval… Great communications with the owner.. Would go again…

The house has everything you need for a family holiday. The pool was delicious and the surrounding countryside was beautiful for walks and cycling and some running. The bakery in the village is very yummy. We loved staying at this house and have many happy mementoes. Thank you Mr and Mrs Charos and Madame Henry.

the swimming pool and the really quiet surrounding is the magic of this place. They also have all the necessary equipment you need today. You can go for a hike directly outside you own gate but there are also plenty of other opportunities in the neighborhood.

We stayed at this property for 2 weeks, welcomed by the house keepers who showed us around and made us feel welcome. We felt relaxed and at home here, property was well equipped swimming was amazing and kept well, the housekeepers popped in to maintain it but never disturbed us. Thankyou for an amazing holiday the time just flew by. A must is to visit the zoo which is about an hour away, best zoo I have ever been too.

Quiet and pretty location, plenty of parking. House needs a little de cluttering, a little quirky. Not luxurious as described, comfortable, needs a little attention! Lights bulbs, several needed changing, lampshade missing, shower door a little loose. Due to floods in June, many restuarants closed and bakery! Great bistro with fantastic service. Good welcome when we arrived but language was hard as we don't speak French we had to speak to owner on the telephone. Pool a good size, felt the sides of the pool could have been cleaned and garden could do with some love We felt the property maybe over priced as this was not a luxury property as described! Lots of lovely towns with many chateaux's, walks along the river, cycling fantastic! This area had lots to explore, great wine at very reasonable prices.
