The airport is about 30 minutes away, and golf courses are around 10 minutes by car. The beaches of Nienhagen and Börgerende are also 10 minutes away. Surfing lessons are offered from May to October, and horseback riding on the beach is possible. The zoo in Rostock is 15 minutes away by car.
