THE BEACHOUSE 100meters from the beach 'A stimulating essay in rustic modernism

Absolutely beautiful property just a 3 min walk from a great public beach and an 18km costal hiking path. It was perfect for our group of 5 women for 5 nights. The main house has 4 bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms, 2 living rooms and a kitchen including fridge, stove, microwave and dishwasher. The bunkbed room is accessed through the same door as one of the double rooms on the upper level.The guest house (casita) has 2 double rooms separated by an opaque curtain and 1 bathroom. It also has a mini fridge and espresso machine. Little geckos like to hang out around here. Although the pool is not heated, it was warm enough during our stay at the end of April to be used by those of us who also swam in the ocean. We enjoyed all the outdoor seating areas, especially the dining table under the pergola. The host, Mireia, was always very prompt at responding to any questions or concerns we had, and sent very thorough documentation and instructions for the beach house and recommendations for the surrounding area.We would have needed more rags and towels in the kitchen and thought it was weird that toilet paper was only provided for the first day. The listing mentions there would be dishwasher soap, but there was none so we bought our own at the Lidl nearby. All minor things that did not take away from us enjoying our time here. We would definitely love to stay again if given the chance.

Spotless. As gorgeous as the photos! It's very beautiful here! We loved it!! As avid 'birders' (aka 'twitchers') we enjoyed the nearby Ebro Delta, and hiking on the GR92 along the coast was just out the back gate. The location is wonderful and the Beachouse is an artistic masterpiece. Sitting with the birds in the total privacy of our surroundings was extremely peaceful and connected to nature, in luxury. We would definitely go back! Hope we can. It’s a long way from Canada, but a perfect winter retreat.

Absolutely beautiful. Walk to beach. Sparkling pool. Close to restaurants yet quiet and secluded.

We really enjoyed our time at The Beachouse. The property is immaculately clean. The air conditioning is brilliant. The pool is beautiful and maintained very well. It is so private, which was really nice. The closest beach, Cala Xelin is lovely (although pebbly). So many lovely coves around to explore too. There is a lovely coastal walk also that passes the property (Camino de Ronda). We enjoyed a trip to Portaventura, our teenage boys had a blast there. Also did day trips to Tarragona and Valencia. The wifi in the property was very good and there is also a smart TV (very important for teenagers!) The kitchen was well stocked and we were delighted with the Nespresso machine! Mireia was very responsive and helpful and checked in during our stay to make sure all was going well. A really enjoyable and relaxing holiday. Highly recommended!!
