Merrynook Cabin is indeed a cozy and happy nook, for friends and family to gather. A 1930's cabin that was (back then) a restaurant for the logging community, Merrynook has a full old-school kitchen and dining area. Outside, a BBQ grill and two patio dining areas encourage conversation and good eating.
Books of all kinds, for reading and browsing, populate the shelves. A piano on the front porch invites you to play or listen. Games and puzzles complete the cozy picture.

Absolutely loved our stay. Quaint and cozy, had all we needed and was in perfect proximity to Kings Canyon and Sequoia. Our whole family, teens and tween included loved it!

We loved the cabin. Everything about it was perfect and owners were great. If you’re worried about no AC, don’t be. The swamp cooler and open windows at night had us all sleeping like babies. We also loved the decor and then extremely well stocked kitchen. If we ever make it back to this area we will be here again!JD

Loved the cabin. Clean, had everything you can think of. Would highly recommend for couples and families. Close to king’s canyon and sequoia national parks. Great communication with the hosts
