In the morning, step out for a coffee at a nearby café; in the evening, enjoy dinner at one of the many walkable restaurants. The beach is always just a short stroll away, and the lively energy of Playa del Carmen is close enough to enjoy—yet the apartment remains a calm, home-like retreat when you return.

Although you'll be within walking distance from lots of attractions, bicycles are great to go experience Playa. For out of town adventures like going to the Mayan Ruins, Tulum, Cenotes, etc., I'd recommend renting a car. (there's parking space in the building)
