About this apartment rental
The apartment is located in a newly built house (with elevator) in the 2nd Floor overlooking the Alps. Everything is built barrier-free, so that also guests with a slight disability get along well (but not suitable for Rullstuhlfahrer). The place is located between Lake Starnberg and Ammersee. Also public with S-Bahn, regional train and bus (bus stop
opposite the street) Machtlfing is easily accessible. Our area (5 lakes) is well visited by hikers and cyclists.
Nordic walking routes are signposted.
The apartment is equipped with high quality TV, WiFi, washing machine and dryer. The kitchen is integrated in the 40 m² large living room. The apartment itself has 94 m². They are high rooms with bevels. The underfloor heating ensures balanced heat everywhere. A ventilation system ensures constant temperatures in winter and summer.
The house has a Wasserentkalkungsanlage installed, which provides soft water, which is also felt when showering and bathing. The bathroom is equipped with bath and shower without barrier as well as a large sink, mirror and toilet. The second. Badraum has a 2. We had a wonderful stay at the apartment. It was perfectly located for day trips in the region and into Munich. The host met us as we pulled into the parking lot. The apartment had coffee and other essentials. There was even a jar of home made jelly waiting for us.
The apartment was the perfect size for 4 adults.
We would definitely recommend staying here.

I can only second all the other positive reviews - this spacious apartment is truly wonderful, conveniently located between Tutzing and Herrsching in a tiny Bavarian village. I have never stayed at a cleaner VRBO; the owners thought of everything to make the apartment and our stay special. They also provided helpful additional information on the area, were super easy to reach and responded quickly to questions. Based on other reviews, we decided to rent a car but also made use of the 9 Euro Ticket and commuted by bus and train into Munich on a regular basis (bus stop in front of the house). It was very nice not having to deal with traffic and parking in Munich!! All in all - a great stay in a scenic area and in a fantastic apartment. We hope to return soon.

This apartment was a real find. Loads of space and everything was of the utmost quality. There are plenty of beautiful country walks from the apartment and you can travel to the most beautiful castles, lakes and mountains by car.
Maria was extremely kind and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. We really appreciated the special touches: presents for the children, Christmas decorations.
