About this house rental
Podere il Chiassale is an old farmhouse built in 1850 and renovated in 2015. It is located at the foot of Voterra and combines Tuscan architectural style with modern amenities.
The open professional kitchen offers even demanding chefs all possibilities. The house is equipped with internet, the spacious bedrooms all have satellite TV and air conditioning. In the open living-dining area there is a fireplace, which creates a cozy atmosphere in bad weather. For pizza bakers there is a special wood stove.
The house has a 40qm large portico and offers plenty of shady space for hot days. A large table invites you to dine, as well on the 100sqm terrace.
The 12x6 m swimming pool is located on a higher level and is equipped with a cozy seating area and pool chairs. From the fully fenced plot you have a magnificent view of the surrounding hills and Volterra.
The Rustico is located in the heart of Tuscany, San Gimignano can be reached in about 20 minutes, Florence, Pisa, Siena and the sea are about an hour away.
We organize sailing trips for our guests (own boat 15m is located in the nearby harbor),
Cooking classes, horse riding tours, hikes and a private chef service.

We loved our villa! The rooms were comfortable- clean and great beds, linens. The kitchen was fully stocked and easy to use. The pool was cold, but the grandkids loved it, swimming 2x/day! The location was great. We could get to other hilltop towns and Volterra was closely. Gabriele is AMAZING! She is cheerful, helpful, and replies quickly to concerns. Plus, a kitty visited us daily.

Beautiful, comfortable, clean and well stocked home with an amazing huge pool. Plenty of outdoor seating and dining options. The owners live next door and were gracious and helpful hosts. Air conditioning is in the 3 upstairs bedrooms and the main living room area downstairs. Bocce set and a grassy area to play. We even had one of their cats ‘adopt’ us during our stay which we welcomed. There are good dining options within 5-10 mins of the house and the incredible town of Volterra is about a 20 minute drive.

We spent 8 nights at this breathtaking property with our 3 kids. We absolutely loved the location, views and the surrounds. Jürgen was very welcoming and kind. A holiday to remember for sure. Thank you from 5 happy New Zealanders.
