If you love nature and the French countryside, this is the place to go: the owners have a smallholding, complete with horses, sheep, chickens, rabbits and all sorts of other animals, set in acres of beautiful land alongside the Dourdou river (good for fishing). The house is tastefully restored, combining the lovely old stone with wood furniture and contemporary comforts. The owners are charming and cultured, and can advise on the many historic sites and attractions in the area. Wholeheartedly recommended!
