House / Villa - Berbiguieres

We had a wonderful time staying in Berbiguieres! It was a fantastic base for kayaking, cycling and visiting gorgous towns. We enjoyed eating outside. Ines was so welcoming and helpful - with wonderful advice about the local area. It really was a summer to remember.

Our host, Ines, welcomed us heartily and with a bottle of her favorite wine. The old barn has everything you need, we missed nothing. A small part of the garden is fenced, so our dog could stay outside alone the hole day and night. The village and the old barn-house with garden is a very, very beautiful place, calm, quiet, perfect to relaxe. After 2 weeks it was hard to leave. A donkey was our neighbour and the kids loved to feed her. In the morning a little deer visited us in the garden. The house was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the pool, wich is in the backround garden. Old trees spend shadow there. Ines, our host, was always reachable, when we had questions. She is a very nice and friendly lady. A 5 minute ride you are in St. Cyprien, a smaller town, with a supermarket, boulangeries and two times a week, a typical market. So, we would stay there again! Thanks Ines!

Beautiful spacious, generously equipped villa with lots of character and thoughtfully furnished. Lovely large interesting garden, with multiple areas to enjoy with stunning views of chateau and hamlet. We particularly enjoyed BBQ's and the small pool for cooling off. Innes was helpful, generous, friendly and discreet.

We had a wonderful time at Berbiguières! To start with a warm welcome from Ines. The cottage is basic, but equiped with everything you need. It is very well located in a quiet town. The donkey was well appreciated by our 2 children and fitted well next to the great garden with pool and threes to lay under when it is 41°C :-). Within a 30 min drive you can visit some of the most beautiful villages in the Dordogne. If you want to get away from the luxurious and stressful way of living, it is the perfect place to relax!
