The Colibri bungalow is the little brother of the villa Fruit de la Passion (ad 855476). It can accommodate a family of 4, or strengthen the capacity of the Villa Passion Fruit (the two accommodations together will accommodate 10 to 12 people).
Calm and tranquility are the two strong qualifiers of this accommodation. Discover awakening banana fields and the Vauclin mountain which majestically points to its summit nearby.
Carpet in a green setting, the Bungalow Colibri will delight you with its lovingly chosen furnishings; you will appreciate the small punch of the early evening, on the edge of its swimming pool, and you will listen to the delicate noises of the night that will accompany your sleep.
Fondue in the carpet of greenery of the neighborhoods of the Etoile district in Vauclin, the bungalow is bursting with flamboyant colors. The only name of the district evokes starry nights, far from the artificial illuminations of the cities, but at a few minutes of all the conveniences. Refuge quiètude, accommodation promises a stay listening to nature, simple and delicate as the music of this chime hanging under the terrace and jostled by the wind.
Built in wood, with Caribbean colors, it is planted on a plot of 1000m2; Its colors illuminated by a shimmering sun, are reflected in the blue water of the wooden pool. Backed on board, let your eyes get lost in the landscape: as far as the eye can see, banana fields, overhung by the imposing Vauclin Mountain.
The villa is located only minutes from the most beautiful white sand beaches; you can also relax by the pool.
Facilities: The accommodation has many facilities to facilitate your holidays:
Kitchen: fridge, hotplates, coffee maker, toaster, kettle, dishes and kitchen tools.
Living room: TV, internet connection,
Air-conditioned interior, and 160cm bed; sheets and linens provided.
Terrace: stone barbecue + hammock + lounger by the pool;
children: beach games, fries for the pool, cot + sheets + mosquito net,
Tourist attractions: The Vauclin is ideally located, close to the south and its beautiful beaches and the north, more wild.
In the house, a file cabinet offers you my favorite tourist sites, contacts with local fishermen, who can take you on an excursion.

I visited Martinique end of November 2018 and stayed 2 weeks in Catherines lovely small bungalow. The bungalow is located on the same ground with the main house and another bigger house that can be rent, but the skillful arrangement let you feel like having your own private space. The bungalow and the outside kitchen are equipped with everything you need to feel comfortable. I loved to sit on the terrace with a great view in the garden and to the green hills of the back country of Vauclin, enjoying the small pool for a refreshment. The whole place is located in a clean and calm housing area with single-family houses only a few minutes by car away from Vauclin, where you find e.g. small supermarkets, bakery, some Restaurants and bars etc.
Catherine and her family are very nice and friendly hosts. As my French is not very good, it was perfect to be able to communicate in English. Catherine took always care about my needs and could give very helpful recommendations where to go and what to see on the beautiful island. Not to forget Cannelle, the family dog. We became friends as soon as I entered the door.
As I am a water sports and kitesurfing enthusiast, the short distance to the famous kite spot Point Faula was perfect for me. But Vauclin was also my base to visit and see places all over Martinique. The beautiful Caribbean beaches in the South or West, Fort-de-France or the peninsula Caravelle are only a short drive and even the north of the island with the famous volcano Mount Pelée and lots of possibilities for hiking tours in wonderful nature can be easily reached within 1,5 - 2 h. Of course a car is mandatory.
I definitively can only recommend to stay at Catherine’s place and would always choose it again.
