We are two retired ladies who loved our visit to "The Cave" and the Cote d'Azur. Spending a few days in St. Jeannet was a fun way to experience life in a small mountain village. During the day we visited Antibes, Nice, Eze, Villefranche and Monaco. It was wonderful to return in the evening to this peaceful village with beautiful views.

We were finishing up a 2 week trip in France and we came across this vrbo listing which brought us to St Jeannet for a couple nights…and we’re so glad it did. One bus ride from Nice and we were looking at the most magnificent view. We loved our stay in this charming cave that met all of our needs. Communication was also very quick. Thank you!

This cozy, nicely equipped apartment has wonderful views over the Mediterranean. The town of Saint-Jeannet was a delight (although the uphill drive was exciting). Daniel and Sylvia were helpful and responsive hosts.

Me and my husband were here for three days with our daughter (3 years old) and we had a lovely time in the cosy, little house and town. Maybe not the most child friendly (small children - but we knew that) and still our daughter had a very good time and played around in front of the house. Next time we will probably go by car :) thank you a lot David and Sylvia for your kind communication and making us feel very welcome.

This place is a little gem in a gorgeous old French village that has everything you need for a rejuvenating vacation or a longer term stay. Sylvia is a fantastic artist with great taste that makes this apartment quaint. She and Daniel are excellent hosts - very responsive and super friendly making sure you will have what you need. The village itself is extraordinary - constructed centuries ago on a mountainside with narrow stone streets (there are parking lots where it is best to leave your car, particularly as you don't need it here), little shops to buy fresh food you can cook in the included kitchen and an excellent restaurant (La Table des Baoas). Saint Jeannet is a very special place to visit with fantastic days trips in every direction. And this apartment with its charm and phenomenal views is a great base for one person or a couple to enjoy it optimally. The one and only potential downside is that if you visit during the summer months when there are tourists and more foot traffic, there is some noise as the windows are on a little square where people sometimes congregate and often pass.

We really don't even know where to start with our stay in beautiful stunning "Gods work of art" Saint-Jeanette, France!!! We have to say 1st and foremost that Daniel and Sylvia were 2 of the nicest people we have ever met in our lives..along with Sylvia's beautiful mother. "The Cave" as they call it is adorable and has everything you could need for a wonderful trip in the awesome hills above Nice .. which by the way is on the Mediterranean Sea BUT you can see from your windows in "The Cave" .. how awesome is that?? We could go on and on AND ON about our trip to Saint-Jeanett France to "The Cave" from Arizona USA FOR 2 MONTHS ..yes lucky us 2 months😎 .. but I'm going to stop and just say it will be a trip of your lifetime to get to stay here and get to enjoy this lifestyle and have Daniel and Sylvia as your hosts .. you will never find better!! We will be back!! We highly recommend for numerous reasons! .. be safe & stay well with the Corona19 virus in the world at the time I am writing this .. it is pretty bad, we got home to USA in the nick of time .. God bless you all ..THANK YOU FOR SHARING YOUR AWESOME PLACE AND VRBO you get 10 👍's up ♥️ ♥️

My husband and I chose this location because it was close to Nice and St. Paul de Vence. One of southern France’s villages perchés, St. Jeannet was charming and the accommodations were quaint. Our first drive up the narrow and winding roads to the village was a little intimidating, but Daniel came and got us in the village to show us the best way to navigate the area. The view from the apartment, which is a converted wine cellar, was majestic. If you are looking for a tranquil, magical place away from mobs of tourists, this is it.
