About this villa rental
Bright and spacious Villa in Monopoli, Puglia in an authentic icon of the Apulian style. It is located in the countryside along the hills between Monopoli and Castellana Grotte and can accomodate comfortably up to 12 guests in 6 bedrooms.
The villa is a old stone house completely renovated and furnished with modern furnishings and it is divided into two indipendent floors.
The main ground floor offers:
- Spacious and fully furnished living and dining area with sofa and a fully-equipped kitchen with all the modern amenities needed;
- Master matrimonial bedroom (suite) with air-conditioning;
- Second matrimonial bedroom with air-conditioning from which you access the third bedroom with two single beds, ideal for kids and teenagers;
- Complete bathroom with large shower and closet;
- Kitchen equipped with barbeque and all the useful appliances.
The first floor upstairs offers two matrimonial bedrooms with air conditioning and another twin bedroom with two single beds. This floor have a comfortable bathroom with shower.
The villa is covered with an excellent free WiFi connection.
The villa has a well-kept external area consisting in a wooden gazebo with dining area and wood oven with a barbeque and a second gazebo on the lawn. Other features include a outdoor complete bathroom with shower and a characteristic garden (9000 mq) with typical plants from the area, evergreen and olive trees and an abundance of fruit trees (for the guests to harvest as they wish).
Their special construction, with the wide circular vault entirely made of stone and a beautiful wall of bare rock that creates a special atmosphere at ground floor, will allow you to enjoy a pleasant coolness in the summer and warmth in the cold days, thus becomng an ideal holiday home in every month of the year.
This property is an ideal getaway for families with children and seniors; it is centrally located in terms of sightseeing in the region and it is set apart from the daily bustles of a busy town.

We had the best visit with family and meeting new family. The villa was a perfect location for exploring the region and all of us had the most enjoyable time. Vito and MariaFranca the perfect hosts!

We have had a fantastic holiday in the masseria.Vito is a perfect host, he wants to make you feel comfortable and thinks of everything. For example, he arranged that 2 cots and 2 high chairs were ready and all beds were made. We have traveled a lot in our lives, but I have never seen a stay where so many kitchen utensils and crockery etc were available. Really grand. The house has everything for at least 12 people and much more, so that you can eat together at the table both inside and outside. The bathrooms are fine and the bedrooms very romantically decorated. Everywhere mosquito nets in the bedrooms. Great beds.
He also picked us up because our car was stolen and we had no transport to the Masseria. He arranged a car for us and that was all very friendly !!
Conveniently, we were able to communicate with him through a lady friend who acted as a Dutch interpreter. He Vito was always available everywhere and gave us good tips. Supermarket etc is nearby and a 7 min drive from Castellana Grotte. There is a beautiful b b q and a very nice pizza oven and lots of outdoor space. Beautifully Massaria which is as in the pictures. Thank you Vito for everything
