Situated less than five minutes from Sugar Mountain Ski Resort and Sugar Mountain Public Golf Course, this four-bedroom mountain home is the perfect retreat for a year-round mountain escape. Sugar Grand is a recently renovated single-level home showcasing high ceilings and stunning hardwood floors that create a seamless flow throughout. The expansive family room features vaulted ceilings adorned with exposed wood and metal beams, lending a contemporary vibe. After a day on the slopes or hiking your favorite trail, unwind on the sectional while enjoying the warmth of a wood-burning fireplace. A wall of windows fills the room with natural light and showcases the stunning mountain vistas. The chef's kitchen boasts a gas stove, ample cabinet space, and quartz countertops to meet all your culinary needs. A large island with seating for four serves as an ideal spot for friends to gather. The partially covered back deck, accessible from the dining area and all four bedrooms, stretches the length of the home. Fire up the charcoal grill for a delicious dinner, savor your morning coffee, or relax in the hot tub while soaking in the year-round views.
Sugar Grand accommodates up to ten guests with two bedroom suites and two additional bedrooms. The spacious master bedroom features high ceilings, a king bed, and direct access to the deck. The custom private bathroom includes a large soaker tub, a level-entry shower, and double vanities. The second suite also offers a king bed, a private bathroom with a step-in shower, and access to the back deck. Both the queen bedroom and bunk room have deck access and share an additional full bathroom. The bunk room can accommodate four guests in twin bunk beds. This beautiful mountain home is equipped with Wi-Fi, YouTube TV, central heating and air conditioning, and a washer and dryer. Please note that pets are not permitted at Sugar Grand. The property features a level gravel driveway with parking for four vehicles, plus four steps leading to the covered front entrance.

This property was the perfect spot for a weekend of snowboarding at Beech Mountain! The interior of this home was so tastefully decorated even my son and his friends were excited to stay! The sectional was perfect for movie night and afternoon snoozing! The bedroom accommodations worked out great. The mattresses and bedding were a great addition to a comfy nights sleep. However, the hot tub took the cake. After a long day of being on the slopes, it was a welcome end of the day treat! The kitchen was my favorite! My only suggestion in terms of the kitchen, would be to replace sauté pans and frying pans. There was not a pan available to cook eggs because the Teflon coating was peeling away which is not ideal. We ended up baking the eggs in the oven. There was only one metal spatula so those items may need to be added as well.Overall, this property was exactly what I was hoping for in terms of space and design. Most times you see old, outdated homes where the furniture looks like hand me downs and afterthoughts. This was not the case with this home! We will definitely be back and can’t wait to book again!

Loved this house! It was spacious, clean, comfortable and conveniently located. And the view of Grandfather mountain was the cherry on top!
