Etoile de Mer: Amazing 180 degrees seaview apartment

Really enjoyed our 2 week stay. Perfect location. Beautiful beach. beautiful swim. Next to Popo supermarket. negative comments would be that there is no fan in the living area balcony/ and some blinds/sun filter to block the sun. Toilet way too small. A tall person has to leave the door open. Virginie

We had a wonderful time in Trou aux Biches. We stayed with 4 Persons in the first floor for three weeks. We have spend the most time of the balcony, because the view was wonderful! Sometimes we have cooked yourself. The supermarket was directly on the other side of the road, where we were able to buy everything. The restaurant Oaks next to on is also highly recommended and very friendly. By bus you can go to Grand Bay, Port Luis, it is very cheap. Or you order a taxi all day, to look at sights (in the wintertime it costs ca. 2500 - 3000 Rp). We had good weather around 23°, sometimes rain and warm wind. For us it was a perfect weather. Every day Maseline came, she cleaned the apartment, even cooked for us once or bought fish. She was very nice and we laughed a lot together. I can only recommend it, we enjoy the time very much and we were very happy not to stay at a hotel resort.

Ahh once again we had a Truly Magnificent 20 day vacation in Trou aux Biche at the beautiful L'Abri Coutier appartments .what more could one ask for, white sand and gentle lapping waves just steps from your porch , Palm Trees swaying in the gentle breeze. and thats before you start exploring the "Beautiful Island"and all that it offers... Our apartment were beautifully furnished and wonderfully comfortable .We engaged/hired our lovely daily char lady " Marci" to cook for us on occasions, fantastic Creole and Mauritian dishes..." Popo's Supermarket " is literally "over the road" ,.and the smell of his fresh baked croissants , pastries and crispy baguettes' is mouthwatering to say the least.. ! Roll on next year ...Thank you all... and especially the lovely Alexandra, the caretaker who welcomed us, settled us in and made sure we had everything we needed and beyond, during our stay.. Waking up every morning to the spectacular view available from every window in Etoile de Mer was truly wonderful. This is a magical little apartment in a fantastic location. We will be recommending it to all of our friends. Thank you!!!!!!!
