About this apartment rental
Fully equipped private apartment (65 square meters) with a whirlpool tub and a great view in a quiet location near the university
You’ll find a beautiful, newly renovated, private apartment measuring 65 square meters, fully equipped with everything you need to enjoy your stay in Saarland.
The apartment features a spacious new bathroom with a walk-in shower and its own whirlpool tub.
There’s also a walk-in closet that can accommodate even large suitcases without taking up space in the living area.
The bedroom features a super-comfortable king-size box-spring bed; for more than two guests, there’s also a comfortable 140 x 200 cm sofa bed available.
In the living room, you’ll find a cozy sofa, a 65-inch flat-screen TV, and a spacious desk where you can work in peace if needed.
There are also books and board games available for rainy days.
The kitchen is also fully equipped with everything you need to cook your own meals, and with the dishwasher, you don’t even have to wash the dishes yourself ;-).
To stock up the fridge, there are grocery stores just a few minutes’ (2–3) walk away.
We’re happy to provide excellent bus connections to all corners of the Saarland and free tips for day trips as a bonus ;-)
Please note that the apartment is located on the 2nd floor without an elevator.
For tenants staying longer than 26 days, we’ll be happy to draw up a standard lease agreement.
The building has a laundry room with a washing machine and dryer available for a small fee.
My guests have their own entrance with a private door leading to the apartment.
Access is via the building’s shared entrance and hallway.
The apartment is on the 2nd floor.
I live on the first floor and will be on site to hand over the keys; if you’d like to check in on your own or are arriving late, you can use the key safe.
The apartment is located on a quiet residential street not far from the town center. The town center is a convenient 2–3-minute walk away, where you’ll find all the shops you need for daily necessities:
- Supermarket
- Bakery
- Butcher
- Clothing stores
- Restaurants
- Fast-food
- etc.
At the same time, you’re spared from street and party noise, so you can enjoy your stay in peace, and you also have excellent public transportation access.
Due to the difficult parking situation in downtown Saarbrücken, the best way to get there is by bus, which departs every 10 minutes (travel time approx. 12 minutes).
The bus stop is just a few meters away on foot.
The university is about an 8-minute bus ride away, with several buses per hour.
Alternatively, it’s about a 5-minute drive.
Transportation connections are excellent:
To the city center:
- by bus every 10 minutes (travel time about 12 minutes)
- by car in about 10 minutes
To the university:
- by bus every 10 minutes (approx. 8-minute ride)
- by car, about 5 minutes
Unfortunately, the airport is a bit outside the city; I recommend taking a taxi (cost: about 25 €; travel time: about 20 minutes)
I’d be happy to arrange transportation for you as well.
The highway (A623) is about a 5-minute drive away.
