We were made very welcome by Francisco and his staff. The property was in the centre of town so we were able to park our car and explore on foot whilst we were there. The family had lived in the house for over 500 years and the host gave us an interesting guided tour .
Breakfast good, rooms comfortable with period features . Family chapel.
The first day we were there, thrrr was a festa with music and lots of people in the square - which was fine for us as we were celebrating our wedding anniversary !!
The second day, we enjoyed the local flea market, cafes,
Most enjoyed the majestic plane trees in the courtyard at the back , providing welcome shade . And not forgetting the peacocks and the goats .
Altogether felt very welcomed by the host family . Thank you
