Centrally located near the beach, and town, this fully renovated 5 bedroom/5 bath home, including nanny suite , boasts ocean views and plenty of style. Bright and spacious; this home has been meticulously designed and is perfect for hosting families & large groups. Relax in the saltwater pool, enjoy a backyard grill session with outdoor dining or take in the magical sunsets from the beach. Purple palace is sure to have everything you need for your vacation.
The Space:
Spacious and stylish. Located on the iconic Route 413 “The Road to Happiness”, this bright and airy home has just undergone a meticulous renovation in which no design detail has been spared! With abundant common areas, 5 bedrooms and 5 full baths (each designed to feel like a tiny jewel box!), this property includes a gracious guest suite (with private entrance). Ideal for families or large groups. Centrally located and within walking distance to Steps Beach, restaurants, coffee shops, and the marina. This home allows access to all the best that Rincon has to offer!
Enjoy tree-lit outdoor dining overlooking the saltwater pool and spacious backyard, or stroll to the beach to catch the best sunsets. You will find everything you need. The home is equipped with a full kitchen, dining table with seating for 12, two full-size washer/dryer units, a state of the art home water filtration system, 3 forms of internet service for uninterrupted use, full solar energy and unlimited backup water supply. Once outdoors, you will find a Weber grill; an outdoor shower, beach chairs, snorkel equipment, a surf board rack and yoga mats.
AC is provided in all bedrooms. Balconies and ceiling fans allow for your ideal climate control. The layout and size of this home ensure that all guests can enjoy the space, while also enjoying privacy.
This home features two separate living areas, three en-suite bedrooms with king beds, and two queen bedrooms with a shared bath. Unique design details, such as French and Spanish tile work, an indoor hammock and artwork by famed local photographer, Chris Hamlet make this the perfect stylish spot for entertaining or relaxing.
Please note that this property is bi-level with stairs.
Guest Access:
Guests have access to the entire property as well as the backyard.
The Neighborhood:
Centrally located and close to everything.
The house is on the main street so there is potential for noise.
Safe neighborhood.
Purple Palace is walking distance to Steps Beach, the Marina as well as restaurants and the downtown plaza.
Getting Around:
The property is in a walkable area, but having a rental car is highly recommended
Other Things to Note:
This property is located on the famous 413 Road to Happiness. You may hear road noise from time to time as well as local wildlife such as frogs, birds, and the occasional rooster.
We reserve the right to cancel/limit bookings based on number of nights during Holiday weeks/weekends (3-5 days)
Exceptions to the rule apply
There is a labeled owners closet in the lower area. Please do not try and access this closet.
Please rinse in the outdoor shower before entering the salt water pool
Pack & play, High Chair and baby gate are always located in this property for guest use.
We are located on the western point of the island.
We are2.5 hours from SJU Airport, 35 minutes from both BQN & MAZ airports and 1.5 hours from PSE Airport in Ponce.
To avoid the drive from San Juan there is a Cape Air flight that goes direct multiple times a day from SJU to MAZ.

I am available if needed, but like to give guests their space. I live a few streets away so reach out if needed.

This was the perfect rental for our group of eight. The house was thoughtfully appointed with everything we needed, including a well-equipped kitchen, beach chairs for everyone, and plenty of space to gather or spread out. The location was excellent. We could easily walk to the beach, and it was just a short drive into downtown. The pool was a major highlight for us and absolutely lived up to expectations. The backyard truly feels like an oasis.The home also seemed very well maintained, communication with the host was easy, and the AC worked perfectly. We were mindful about keeping showers short, but the water pressure was good and we never ran out of hot water, even with cloudy weather during our stay. The only note from our group was that the mattresses leaned a bit firm.We were a little surprised to learn about the stricter noise policies after booking, including no use of a Bluetooth speaker after 9pm, no karaoke, and significant fines tied to noise complaints. We completely understand the need for rules and respecting neighbors, however this would be helpful information to include in the property description. We would absolutely stay here again when we’re back in Rincon!

This home truly felt like a tropical paradise. It was easy to find and perfectly located just minutes from the beach. Our entire group was blown away by the spacious living areas, and the master bedrooms felt especially luxurious.The backyard was a highlight—private, peaceful, and perfect for relaxing, with a great pool and picnic area. We also appreciated the thoughtful touches like bath towels, beach towels, and pool toys. The air conditioning worked well throughout the house, which made a big difference in the warm climate.One small tip: like many rentals, there aren’t blackout blinds, so you may want to bring an eye mask if you’re sensitive to light.We absolutely loved our time in Rincon and would happily stay here again.

We had a great time and the location was perfect for walking to the beach and resturants. The house was spotless and had plenty of room for our family of 6! The pool and the decks were pefect for relaxing outside. We would come back to the house again! Thanks for having us!
