About this house rental
In desirable Chalet Village almost at the top. Seven minutes from Ober Gatlinburg. Watch the Aerial Tramway as it passes from the deck while enjoying the awesome expansive and breath taking mountain view.
This property is owner managed so you get that hands on personal touch that no management company can provide.
There is a game room with billiard table, skee-ball, foosball table, 60 in one arcade video console, dart board, large screen ROKU tv with premium cable (incl. HBO) and XBOX with guest account supplying games or bring your playstation and connect. All in a dedicated game room level of the home which also has an outside covered deck with an awesome view. So those who desire quiet can be up in the living room and those who want to play in the game room are on their own level of the home.
Great living room with wood burning fireplace, premium cable with HBO and ROKU and a breathtaking view of the mountains of Gatlinburg and the Great Smokeys through the large windows.
High speed internet fully capable of handling all your devices with plenty of bandwidth and speed.
A fully equipped kitchen capable of handling full holiday family meals.
Three bedrooms which include 2 king beds and 1 queen. Master bedroom on main floor with an extra large doorless walk in shower comfortably fitting two. Two bedrooms on the top floor with a shared full bath.
There is parking in private driveway for up to 4 vehicles.
You will have full access to all three Chalet Village clubhouses with pools, health club, work out facilities, tennis courts, private lockers, event rooms available and snack bar all included with your rental. You can use the Chalet Village guest passes for discounts on many Gatlinburg attractions and restaurants. Simply google Chalet Village Owners Club discounts for a list or see the list in the property photos.
Seven minutes from Ober Gatlinburg ski and summer resort which has year round ice skating and tubing, an awesome mountain coaster, a summer water park and of course winter ski/snowboarding. You can ride the tramway down the mountain to Down town Gatlinburg to avoid the traffic and parking challenges. Use the guest passes for discounts. The tram can get expensive.
Conveniently nearby to the Chalet Village market and a less than 10 min drive down the mountain to down town Gatlinburg.
Also very convenient access to Great Smokey Mtn. Nat’l park. Avoid all that traffic getting to the park, you are already there!

Great place to stay!! We had a young black bear visit us on the property. We viewed from a safe distance, but it was amazing! Very family friendly with the game room downstairs.

Excellent place to stay! Easy check-in and out. Very comfortably furnished, it felt like we were guests in a home, not a rental property. The views were great, and after a few times the drive up was not nearly as scary! .I enjoyed having a cup of coffee every morning from the variety on hand. The game room was great! It was the nicest one I have seen in my many years renting in the area. We saw a bear at the side of the road, even before we got to the chalet, which was pretty awesome! We saw a total of 19 on our short stay (the majority of those were in Cades Cove, pro tip visit either in the first few hours after sunrise or in the last few hours before sunset) we had bear paw prints one morning on the side of our vehicle, but we had followed recommendations to leave no food in the car, and keeping it locked,so the bear did not try to enter our vehicle. Overall, this chalet was perfect! Highly recommend!

May 17-20 2026We had a fantastic stay at Chalet Village. Our group consisted of 2-86 year olds and everyone loved the chalet and the area. We had bear sightings near the chalet each day we were there. The cabin itself had no signs of mice which is often hard to do in mountains! The house was located in a great area. It was easy to get to Gatlinburg and the Smoky National Park area--even to Pigeon Forge if wanted. Patrick was an excellent host and communicator. He was thorough in providing our group with information from the beginning until the end. He checked to make sure everything was okay. I know if we would have had any issues that he would have been quick to respond. It is nice to know that the host cares about your stay, I would love to visit this same chalet in the future so I highly recommend to this others.

Check in couldn’t have been easier, the owner was fantastic in communicating. Kitchen was well stocked, for the most part, but missing a couple of things we could’ve used. Mattresses were comfortable. The cabin is in need of repairs and maintenance, as well as a deep cleaning.
