About this apartment rental
You live in our romantic, unique farmhouse with historical roots. Our farm was completely rebuilt just 7 km northwest of Lake Chiemsee, nestled in a fantastic lake landscape. Relax in one of the ten exclusive holiday apartments with real Chiemgau farmhouse parlors, historic tiled stoves, solid wooden ceilings, fairytale vaults and handcrafted furniture. Each of our dream apartments has two or three bedrooms with unusual, cozy sleeping worlds. In addition to the fairytale atmosphere, we offer state-of-the-art equipment in every apartment, such as a dishwasher, microwave, WiFi, telephone, satellite TV, DVD, CD + MP3 player, radio, fully automatic ventilation, whirlpool (jacuzzi) and other amenities. Breakfast service, equipment for small children, medieval vaulted cellar, sauna, table tennis, children's play area, adventure playground, lawn, washing machine, dryer. For those interested, there is also a stable with farm animals, the cattle and calves look forward to your visit. There are also rabbits, guinea pigs, cats and chickens for petting. As cozy as before, comfortable as today.

My family (wife and i, and 2 sons aged 6 and 8) spent a few wonderful days in the Granary in April.
It offers a great family holiday: the apartments are truly special - the attention to detail, and design show the owners' overall huge dedication to providing the best accommodation.
As you will have read on the description, the apartments are on a working dairy farm. The owners/farmers are so friendly and it is so nice to see 3 generations all working tirelessly on the farm. Our kids loved seeing the cows, and being close to nature. But they equally loved playing on the go-karts and trampoline!
Overall, we loved the holiday and would definitely recommend it to anyone.

A couple of summers ago, my wife and I stayed here with another couple and absolutely loved it. Wonderfully well designed with all modern conveniences without compromising the sense of antiquity. Obviously a professional adaptation. The surrounding area is beautiful. The view from the balcony off the back and walking the area were beautiful. Not a single disappointment. We plan to to return. Fresh eggs, milk and bread available each morning in a basket with you name on it. Without a doubt, the best part was meeting Grandma. We couldn't speak each other's language but thoroughly enjoyed our conversations anyway. BTW: Still a functioning farm. Tremendous experience for kids.
