Destin West Villa 301, oceanview, wraparound balcony, lazy river, 6 pools, beach

Everything was wonderful! A little confusion on the check in process because the message instructions were very different for the actual check in instructions but other than that it was perfect and would love to book again!

Great place to stay had every thing we need loved the wraparound balcony

What I liked: The property was easy to find, the condo was really clean, with cold AC and great water pressure. It's also within walking distance of 4 different restaurants, and if you want to drive somewhere else, it's not really that far, just a lot of heavy traffic to deal with, especially in the afternoon hours. This is a great family-friendly spot with multiple pools and easy beach access. What I feel others should know: I'm not gonna say I didn't like anything, as it was just my wife and I, but it could have been a little aggravating had we taken another couple with us. This condo is not a one-bedroom; everything is open, so privacy is not gonna happen, even in the bathroom. The ocean view isn't really an ocean view. You can see the water, but just a little bit through the palm trees. Unfortunately, a large trash container is parked right outside on the adjacent property, but fortunately, it didn't have a smell. The rock waterfall picture is misleading because it is no longer there. Also, the patio door doesn't close all the way, so you can't lock it, not that you have to worry about anyone coming in that way. We did share this information, so hopefully they'll get that fixed soon. Other than that, we had a great time, and for the price, it was definitely worth every penny. One last thing to mention, Victoria, with the reservation staff, was fantastic and very easy to communicate with through text messaging.

The resort itself is very nice . Lazy river and the pools were perfect. The resort is close to the boardwalk and restaurants . Very nice location. Room was clean and the property clean. However , this unit failed to meet expectations. The sofa bed was broken and we basically sat in the floor. The tv in the bedroom area was the size of a computer screen. The bed was horrible and hard as a rock. Sleep was difficult . We reached out about be the broken sofa bed and they left a queen blow up for us to use which took up the entire living room area. There are no closets or anywhere to hang nice clothes and there were only two chairs on the patio . We managed but will not book this room again or any other villa in this location. The bed and sofa definitely need replaced .
