The home is located in Ojochal which is approximately 3 hours from San Jose International airport (airport code: SJO).
There is a domestic airport located in Quepos, that is 45 minutes away, that has has daily flights to/from SJO. The flight is only 25 minutes from SJO to Quepos and is a great way to see the amazing topography of Costa Rica. Mountains, rivers, beaches.
A 4x4 vehicle is required to ensure year-round access to the property and to navigate the roads in Ojochal.

The house was beautiful and we enjoyed the pool and grounds. I’d suggest a binder with instructions for the stove, coffee maker, tv, etc It was extremely frustrating trying to figure these things out without information. We had to call for assistance. The directions on both Google Maps and Waze were incorrect. We only found the place because a neighbor’s workers stopped to help.
