Retro Fun Meets Classic Charm
Welcome to Gamers Oasis, a one-of-a-kind stay where modern gaming fun meets the character of a historic home.
This spacious home was originally built in 1925, and while it has been updated with fresh flooring, comfortable furnishings, and fun gaming features, it still carries the charm and personality of a 100+ year-old house.
What You’ll Love
Game-filled experience – themed bedrooms, Skee-Ball, gaming décor, and spaces designed for fun and connection
Plenty of room for families & groups
Relaxing porch hangout area with TV, seating, and game table
Three uniquely themed bedrooms (including fan-favorite gaming themes)
About the Home (Please Read)
Because of the home’s age and history, you may notice:
Slightly uneven floors in some areas
Walls with character from decades of plaster work and repairs
A layout that reflects a classic 1920s build
These are part of the home’s charm—not signs of damage—and are typical for homes of this era.
That said, we take pride in keeping the space clean, fresh, and comfortable, with newer laminate flooring and carpet throughout.
Cleanliness Commitment
We work hard to provide a clean and welcoming environment for every guest. If anything ever feels off during your stay, we encourage you to reach out right away—we’re quick to respond and make things right.
🔊 About the Upstairs Unit
There is a separate apartment above the home called “Springfield 1925.”
It is a completely separate unit with its own entrance
As with many older homes, some sound transfer is possible between levels.
Most guests find this minimal, but if you are highly sensitive to noise or expecting total sound isolation, this is something to keep in mind.
Perfect For:
Families with kids
Gamers and fun-loving groups
Guests who appreciate unique stays over cookie-cutter hotels
Not Ideal For:
Guests expecting a perfectly level, modern new-build home
Those highly sensitive to occasional noise from an upstairs unit
Our Promise
We aim to offer a space where you can relax, laugh, play, and make memories.
If you value experience, personality, and fun, you’re going to love it here.
About the Neighborhood
Gamers Oasis is located in an established, older neighborhood that reflects the history and character of the area.
Most surrounding homes are well cared for, and neighbors are friendly and respectful
The area is generally quiet and residential
Across the street, there is an older vacant home with boarded windows. While it’s not the most visually appealing, it has not caused any issues for guests, and the neighborhood remains a comfortable place to stay.
If you’re looking for a polished, HOA-style neighborhood, this may not be the right fit—but if you appreciate a real, lived-in community with character, you’ll feel right at home.
Need more space? the upstairs of this home finctuons as a separate short term rental unit but if available you can booth them both to total sleep an additional 7guests.

This place is amazing for families.

Great host, fun place. It is an old house and shows signs of aging, but nothing you wouldn’t expect. Everything is functional and well kept. The games were fun, and our kids had a blast! Heads up for tall people - the shower has a clearance of 6’2”, so be ready to duck as you shower!

The place was very clean. Host very quick to respond to messages or questions. Great front porch for hanging out. The gaming theme was intresting. That was not the draw for us.weneeded a one night stay at a reasonable price close to our performance venue. This was it.Only one caveat. If you have any mobility issues, this might not be the place for you. Nothing dangerous. Just not accomadating due to steps, lighting and some tight corners.

The AC was poor, in all fairness, we did not notify the host about it, but it was warm enough to sleep on top of the bedding, what bedding there was, just a fitted sheet and a comforter. We did however locate the flat sheet on check out day, on a shelf instead of the bed. The exterior trash can was full, leaving us to wonder where we would put our trash. a minor annoyance, it did get emptied on our last full day there. Some of the electronic games did not work. The TV programming was inconsistent, Disney for example was only on one TV. An oversight of ours, when we booked, was not noticing there was not a dining table, trays are available. There really wasn't a comfortable place to sit for us, seems it was furnished for the young gamers who are not concerned about sitting upright and having some back support. Overall, it was not terrible, I only mention these things not to complain about the place, but so others know what to expect.
