The house is right off the highway, so you hear highway noise when we were sitting outside but more noteable is that it is right next to a campground that has cabins. We could hear the kids playing like they were right next to us and at one point it got a bit loud, so we went inside. Obviously, nothing to do with the house itself, just where it's located.

The location was perfect, just a few minutes' drive from Lost Maples and the surrounding area very pretty and serene. But the house, appliances, linens, and furniture are worn and needs a good deep cleaning and upgrade. The walls/doors were grimy, cobwebs around the house, dirt around all the ceiling vents, toothpaste in the sink, etc. There was a large gap under the front door and we found Giant Desert centipedes on 3 different occasions inside the home.
