About this apartment rental
This condo is in the Hibiscus Resort community. It is on the 3rd floor which provides lovely views looking down on the palm trees and the manicured grounds. The condo is a 5 minute (or less) walk to the beach, along a well kept and private board walk.
The condo has a front and back deck. At sunrise, if it is a clear day, from the front deck, you can look to the south east, you may be able to see the sun sparkling off of the ocean from between the palm trees.
The rear deck overlooks the neighboring pool and a partial view of one of the 3 Hibiscus pools. One pool is heated in the winter. The resort also has 2 hot tubs. There is a simple gym with a treadmill, exercise bike, and some weights. The resort has a tennis court that is dated, this is more due to the salt air and the sand that often blows into the court, despite this, many people have enjoyed playing tennis.
Condo description:
The first bedroom has a king size bed with a brand new mattress.
The second bedroom has a queen size bed, a twin daybed, and 2 twin mattresses tucked away.
Lastly the living room couch has a sleeper sofa with a new queen mattress.
All mattresses and pillows have protective covers with moisture barriers.
There are 2 bathrooms, both with a shower and tub. Each bathroom is accessed through a bedroom. The bathrooms do not connect.
The kitchen has dishes and cookware.
Please note that this building does not have an elevator and it is about 20 stairs to get into the condo. The majority of renters do not find this to be an issue. Parking: only 2 vehicles are allowed on the property (per condo). The resort does not allow trailers & campers to be parked at the property. You may park a drivable camper van in a parking space as long as it fits comfortably in a parking spot and does not make it difficult for others to use parking spots next to your vehicle.
Lastly, this vacation rental was purchased recently and we have been in the process of fixing it up and replacing furniture. You will find new items mixed with older and the goal is to keep updating this unit. There are 4 beach chairs with back back straps for easy carry and beach canopy.
There are still things that we’d like to improve. We realize that this is a work in progress so if you choose to rent from us then I’d love constructive feedback so we can improve for the future. Our rates are set lower than our neighbors because we would like your feedback and (hopefully) positive reviews.

Room was very nice & equipped for our stay. The beach was a short walk through the complex. The stairway was a bit steep & narrow, as the room was on 3rd floor. I will do that differently next time.

A wonderful stay at a great location! Marlene was responsive and accommodating throughout our stay. The condo was well supplied for our needs. It was perfect for the adults, teens, and fur babies!

The condo was spacious, close to the beach and multiple pools. The beds were comfortable and AC cold. We will be staying here again.

We really enjoyed our time in St. Augustine and the property is in a great location within walking distance to the beach. Unfortunately the unit needs some attention as it wasn't very clean and the building itself looks to be worn and in need of renovating. We contacted the owner about the cleanliness after checking in. Although there was a quick response and the cleaning crew came back out, it still wasn't completely clean (mildew in the shower, oven was dirty and air vents in bathrooms were filthy.) It was clear that it was only a surface clean vs. a thorough deep clean. Given that we were staying for a week, it made us uneasy. Other items needed attention (such as a loose towel rack in the bathroom and paint peeling in the kitchen and bathrooms). We ultimately enjoyed our stay, but can't in good faith recommend this unit to others given the condition it was in.
