About this house rental
Nestle into the cozy indoor spaces or chill out on the ocean view deck… this second story duplex has everything you need to relax. Located in the heights above Pacific Grove, it’s less than a mile to the Monterey Aquarium, Cannery Row, and the Coastal Recreational Trail—and a few minutes to downtown shops, galleries, restaurants, and cafes. The living room has a sofa with chaise, a reading chair with an ottoman, a large TV and a pot belly stove. There’s a King bed in the master along with a TV, a walk-in closet (and peeks of the ocean). The second guest room has twin beds, and the hall bath has a tiled shower. The dining nook and laundry adjoin the kitchen, equipped with a refrigerator, a four-burner gas range and microwave (no dishwasher). If you’re working from home, there are two desks: one in the master bedroom and the second (with a computer) tucked into the stairway landing. Street parking only. We like this place a lot and plan to come back in the future. It’s a nice location and staff is very responsive to any needs we have. This year we were surprised and pleased to see all new kitchen appliances, and everything was clean and neat when we arrived. All these things contribute to making our stay extremely enjoyable.

Our stay at Latitude Adjustment was very pleasant. The apartment was clean and well-lit and nicely appointed without being cluttered. When we had trouble with the furnace early in our stay, staff at Monterey Bay Property Management responded promptly and took care of the problem. We would definitely use this location again if it was available on future visits!

Very fine accommodation! Convenient to all attractions including ocean (there is a view from deck), downtown Pacific Grove, beach walkway/bike bath, Cannery Row and Fisherman’s Wharf—all within walking distance. Not far from multiple golf courses and Carmel—the bus stop is one block away with regular service to Monterey and Carmel. We loved our stay and it met all of our expectations. No central heat which was a slight problem and no TV service in bedroom. But very adequate size with nice work space on landing, living room, laundry, kitchen, two good size bedrooms with large closets—quiet neighborhood.
