About this house rental

No. 14 is in a charming, quiet location in the middle of Winslow's Conservation Area (an area of special historical / architectural interest). The pedestrian-only Church Street leads to St Laurence's Church, parts of which date to the 13th century.

This is our home when we are in England, we have had it refurbished to the highest specification, and we like to think that nothing has been forgotten!

Occupancy:
The maximum occupancy of the property is five guests, at any point during your stay.

Infants who sleep in a cot do not count towards the occupancy figure, however, due to space restrictions, only two additional infants can be accommodated. An infant is defined as a child who sleeps in a cot. We can only provide one cot and one highchair.

Pets:
Pets are accepted on a case by case basis.

Bed linen and towels:
One set of bed linen and towels are provided for guests.

Arrival and departure times:
Arrival time is after 16:00 and departure time is by 10:00. Access is via a key safe, therefore it does not matter if you are arriving late at night.

All the rooms feature Hypnos beds, the most comfortable beds in the world. Hypnos hold the Royal Warrant in the United Kingdom for supplying mattresses and divans to the British Royal family. You will enjoy a wonderful night's sleep on these amazing beds and awake totally refreshed from a perfect night's sleep. There is one goose down and one duck down pillow for each guest.

I would say the overall experience with this semi detached house in Winslow is great. The host Michael is very responsive and have all the guide, document, manual well prepared. You just need to spend a bit time to study all those information. Same like others reviews before, it is a high tech setting in the house with good IoT which can control most of the devices. The design is old and tradtiion. But the floor height is really low which I bumped my head few times when goto the basement and the toilet. Regarding the cleanness, there's quite a lot of dust especially in those corner areas. But when we arrived we still see the rubbish from previous guest still there, one bag is outside the door, and the one Blue and Purple recycle bag hand in the garden storage. Seems like the cleaner do not perform their duty. Just be aware that there is only one remote control for the xbox, and we spent some time communication with the host to get the password to login to play the game. Since there is no own car park, so parking on the street is not very easy, I can still find a slot in the main street but usually it is last one close to the house. I would still recommend this house if you would love to live in a old small town near to Milton Keynes.

Property is located in the heart of Winslow. It’s very close to the High Street for easy walking access, but we did not hear any traffic noise during our stay. Very peaceful and quiet. Parking was challenging at times, but this was to be expected. Ceilings are low, which you need to watch out for if you are tall. Stairs are. steep and narrow. This was not not a problem because it is characteristic for this period of property. House is finished to a very high standard. Our host, Michael, was very responsible to all our questions.

The house has been beautifully and sensitively renovated so it still feels like a cottage from the 18th century but it has every modcon you would want - with stylish lighting, nespresso machine, Sonos everywhere, boiling/drinking water tap, great bathroom. Wonderful comfortable beds and linen- felt like we were in a hotel. Village store at end of road and lovely church and grounds nearby. Couldn’t have been better. Highly recommended.

Exceptional home, with careful attention to everything a visitor might need & more. Very comfortable beds with quality linen & towels. Well equipped kitchen, abundant bookshelf choices, great variety & quality of technology options if needed. The property description is precise and very easy/quick communication with hosts for any questions. Fantastic location, in walking distance to all day to day needs. Highly recommend to others.

A very well appointed house in the charming market town of Winslow. Tall people beware though: some low ceilings and doorways !
