Never again.

From the point of arrival it was a disaster. We were greeted with a puddle full of water as we stepped into the tent.. that was right next to electrical sockets. The lights weren’t working. The bugs left out were filthy and there was about 10 spiders including 10 bedding. We had our daughter with us and it was not fit for purpose so left and booked alternative accommodation. Really disappointed- tried contacting business for several months after and disappointed with no response at all, not even an apology.

Rustic bliss!

A bit of an adventure to stay in a shepherd’s hut; it was great fun and easy to manage our dog there. It was really convenient for seeing our family nearby.

We couldn’t get the tv to work but that wasn’t essential for us.

Pretty simple bell tent camping setup, nice location - could do with focusing on details.

Nice spot, the brief interaction I had with one of the owners was lovely. I was able to check in early which flying in from Australia that morning was greatly appreciated. I didn't use the sauna but it was a nice touch that did help me choose where to stay.

The floor in the tent was really uneven, and had small pools of water coming through the floor. It didn't hamper my stay but I did expect a bit more. The mattress was also slightly downhill so had to sleep the other end to the way it was set up.

The quiet rustic charm of the place. The hut was comfortable and well presented.

I am a wheelchair user and this place was not accessible it wasnt as advertised the path to the tents was so rough and uneven and dangerous the beds were on the floor when we arrived i i had to pay again to stay in place that was by the carpark and the bed wasnt on the floor but i still could get in there in the wheelchair as there was a large step up just so i could stay with my family and friends the hot tub was in a dinghy area it couldn't be used as the water was green the shop listed items but didn’t actually have them and apparently the don't sell those items anymore

AVOID

The saving grace was the owners dad who was absolutely lovely! Went out of his way to be accommodating and helpful, he brought cakes to say happy birthday to my husband and when we couldn't find fire wood in the local shops he let us use some off cuts he had onsite. Be very greatful you have a father like him, thankyou james dad!

AVOID. It's described as luxurious....its far from it, the place is worn out and overgrown, tents a filthy (when we checked in we were given a tent that hadnt been cleaned from previous occupants the bed had faeces in it, and there was apile of wet towels. The owners mother directed us to another tent but im not really sure the lady knew what to do, very strange experience there, we were given a bottle as compensation but unfortunately a bottle of booze doesn't cover the fact the whole place is deceptive, it's not as advertised and the pictures that you see uploaded do not look anything like it does in person, it's been left to mould and fall apart. We were 3 hrs away from home so had to stay, I had emailed before we came and I had asked for it to be made special as it was my husbands birthday, I stated i would pay whatever it costs, this email wasn't even looked at it seems! Despite every email coming from a 'james' it became apparent all 9 of the emails were generic (and yes 9 emails one after the other is ridiculous) The new tent we were given was water logged in places and the ground was that uneven the bed was on a slope resulting in us rolling to one side, the jacuzzi that is in the picture advertised is not the one that is there. The hammocks are mouldy!!! Do not use them Fire pits and bbqs have all seen better days and need binning And to top it all off we had a dog in our tent at 1am on the day we were due to leave....FYI we dont own a dog!!! Overall avoid, no we won't be back, did we enjoy it, yes buckingham Is beautiful and the hot tub when you close your eyes was ok, but all in all never again. I have so many more pictures of things that were wrong but it won't allow me to update them Enclosed pics: Wet towels from previous occupants Faeces on sheets from previous occupants Firepits beyond rusty Hammocks full of mould

The use of the spa and the location

The bed could of been a bit higher off the ground and the floor could have been level. There were lots of stinging nettles and other weeds that could have been cleared. A chair inside would have been good too

Very relaxing few days in peaceful surroundings.

Spa/Hot tub/Sauna session included and easy to book more sessions on line. The peace and quietness. Use of Eco friendly products. Barbecue and hammock provided. Hot drink making facilities / microwave/ shop on site.

Floor of tent could possibly be on a more level base as it was very uneven.

Upon arrival, it wasn’t clear where “reception” was or where we should go for a key / show around. We booked a “chalet” on here, hence why we paid a bit extra, however, when we got to the accommodation, I was told it was one of the Shepard’s huts that we would be staying in, which wasn’t what we expected. This should be made clearer on this site. There is one chalet but I was told that this was already in use.

Best holiday ever !

The location was amazing, the facilities for cleanliness where enough for camping, and the tent was cozy, also loved there was a hot tub, and a sauna with a cold dip will definitely be back.

There was no toilet roll for the last day or so in the toilets, and more outlets are needed in the tent as there was two people sleeping in it.

Absolutely loved every second, even with the pouring rain at 4am I’d still happily return.

Loved the space itself, the tents were quite far apart so the privacy was lovely.

The opening for the tent could have had a cover or something, so we could leave shoes there because the grass we walked through got everywhere.

The lady who runs the property was lovely and very helpful

Looked absolutely nothing like the pictures. Could barely walk through the grass to get to the tent. The tent itself looked old dirty and had patch holes in it. The bed was a mattress on the floor, which also didn't look very clean. We only stayed 10 minutes then left to stay somewhere else, which was half the price and clean and cosy. I ended up forking out twice for accommodation.

Nice campsite with great access to Silverstone race track.

The location is brilliant for the Silverstone MotoGP. The staff were friendly. The spa area is very relaxing and well-maintained. Overall the campsite is good, it has lots of areas that could be improved with a little work and has massive potential to be an amazing site.

Some tents could benefit from better maintenance. Communication could be improved; no one knew exactly how to book the spa area. It would be nice to include firewood for heating and perhaps a bag of charcoal, as a stay in one tent cost nearly £600 for two nights. The shop area could be better stocked.

Really nice place

Had a lovely experience here, place was really nice and good price. Would definitely go again, only minor thing to comment is we weren’t given any check in information before arrival and there were no signs or anything to say what we supposed to do to get key and find where we were staying.

Absolutely beautiful scenery, the fire pit was amazing and the hosts provided us with extra wood when needed! The shepherds hut was so cozy and the bed was so so comfy! The doggies and cat really made the experience! Absolutely lovely hosts and the plunge pool, sauna and hot tub were an amazing addition! Absolutely worth the money for 2 nights! The stars were amazing at night from our private garden. Close to the town where they had lovely coffee and lunch spots and the pub is a lovely little walk down through the village! Absolutely beautiful

GREAT LOCATION QUIET CLEAN YURT : WONDERFUL WELCOMING, HELPFUL AND PEACEFUL MARCIA, BECKY AND MARTIN. ALL GLORY TO GOD. AMEN. NICE BREAKFAST BASKET DELIVERED. JACUZZI, SAUNA AND COLD BATH IN BARREL : GREAT FUN. NICE WALKS AROUND.

THE ONLY THING WAS NOT TO HAVE A SINK IN THE YURT, WHICH IS UNDERSTANDABLE. MAY BE A TAP OUTSIDE.
