Unwind to a Hatteras Island sunrise from your expansive panoramic deck. With 200 feet of waterfront footage on the calm Pamlico Sound, families can enjoy fishing, windsurfing and kiteboarding, with an easy slope into the water, no bulkheads, and a sandy bottom. At Windscape the entire point is yours to use - perfect for lounging in floats or stand-up paddle boarding.
Prefer the ocean? Take a short walk to your very own deeded beach access between the dunes less than 400 ft away. Feel free to bring your boat along on vacation as there is a Hatteras Boat Ramp a little under 5 miles away and you can anchor off your point and walk in. Windscape was designed to be functional and gorgeous inside and out. The chef in the family will love the open and well-appointed kitchen - with a kitchen bar, large dining table, and picnic table on the deck just outside. The deck offers both sun and shade lounging options, all with a breathtaking view. Under the home there's an outdoor shower and easy breezy access to the waterfront-surrounded backyard, and a storage area with hooks for your kite boards and other water equipment. When you're done with a day on the water, you can get sparkling clean in the outdoor shower or the spa-like shower by the game room. Then a spacious hot tub with a crystal-clear view of the sound awaits. Relaxing in the hot tub gives the appearance of an infinity pool with water in several directions. On the first level, there is a game room and a ping pong table, as well as a spacious full bathroom. A 240-volt plug is available for charging electric cars. A lighthouse stairway, with windows and ocean views, takes you to the second level consisting of four large bedrooms, sleeping 9, with broad decks and a hot tub with a million-dollar view.
The second level is built with comfort in mind. Each bedroom on this level is equipped with a TV and gorgeous water views. On this level you will find a soundfront King En Suite with a vaulted ceiling and deck access, a soundfront Queen En Suite w/ deck access, a Bedroom w/ twin bed and twin/twin bunk beds with ocean views, and a sound-view Two Twin Bedroom w/ soundfront deck access. Lastly, there is a full bath in the hallway.
On the third level, you will find the panoramic living area with water-surrounded views where you'll spend most of your time together. The lavish kitchen with a breakfast bar borders the dining area and looks out on two spacious and well-furnished living areas and a half bath, and game closet. An elevated living area overlooks the sound and is equipped with an excellent entertainment system, movies, and a telescope for birdwatching and stargazing. Step outside to the spacious wrap-around deck to read, play games, or just enjoy the view, with a variety of seating options, and picnic tables to have dinner with those breathtaking unobstructed views you cannot find anywhere else.

Management very easy to work with and highly responsive. Property was beautiful and very comfortable. Beds were comfy. The water views are gorgeous. We had plenty of space to spread out and the kitchen was very well-equipped. All the living is on the top level. Bedrooms on middle level, including washer/dryer. Lower level was entryway and ping-pong room, with access to outdoor shower/rinse station.Very easy access to beach across the street. We loved this quiet and peaceful part of the OBX. Loved all the birdwatching from the deck. Grocery stores and town only 20 minutes away. Easy checkout procedures. Would definitely stay here again.Tips:1. House comes with plenty of beach chairs, but bring a beachcart with you to shlepp all of your gear.2. Bring some all-purpose surface cleaner & extra paper towels with you. We wished we had something to clean off the stove after cooking up some bacon.3. Bring bug spray - we picked up a tick in the backyard area leading to the sound.4. They do have a gas grill for guests to use.5. Our neighbors were windsurfing and parasailing right from their dock, so it looked like a great spot for those sports here.

Our family really enjoyed our stay at this property. Great location right on the sound and maybe a 5 minute walk to the beach. The views on the decks facing the sound are breath taking. Spacious house for our family of 5 and nicely equipped. Our only complaint would be some of the smaller details are lacking and should be addressed (less than half the jets working on the hot tub, headrests missing from hot tub, cover on hot tub is old and tattered, and beds are very firm). Fixing some of these smaller items would really take this place up a notch, but despite that, still very much recommend!

Great place to stay. The kitchen and views were amazing. However, when they say 250 mBps, and it's 40???? Also, the grill was disgusting and needs to be thrown out. It couldn't be used. So I went up to use the broiler on the stove. It didn't work. Dishwasher was broken until the day before we left. Called the property manager about the wi-fi and they said they'd get right on it. One call to Spectrum could have fixed it. But nothing. I would highly recommend the place if it was with a different property manager.
