Cooperstown is a rural, small, upper-midwest town. There's bars, a handful of restaurants, a Dollar General and grocery store - all within walking distance. Some of the nation's best hunting is close by as is the Luverne Wind Farm and the Cooperstown Medical Center and Griggs County Care Center.
There is no public transportation available in Cooperstown, but there are some private transportation options. While it is possible to stay here without a car as essential services are within reasonable walking distance, a car is close to essential with staying in Cooperstown.

4th time to stay in this complex, good rates, and comfortable bed. Not fancy but does the job and allows our dogs. Listing for Badlands says 2 bedroom but is a bedroom and a futon in the living area. We are staying in July in the Family unit (2 bedrooms/baths) for our son’s wedding.

Pros: Nice location. Fully-stocked kitchen. Air conditioning. Plenty of pillows/bedding. New mattresses. Nice shower
Cons: cleanliness is mediocre. Some minor maintenance would improve doors (including jams), window coverings, and locks.
Overall, decent experience and yes, I’d stay there again.
