About this house rental
This cozy 1 bedroom basement apartment in located in Petworth neighborhood of Northwest DC. It is close to the Metro (Georgia Ave-Petworth-Green line) and walking distance from various bus routes (Routes 64 and 62) for easy exploration of downtown DC. The space includes a large bedroom with a queen-size bed and lots of natural light, large living room with dining set, dedicated work space and 55-inch Smart TV, full kitchen with electric stove and refrigerator, and washer/dryer.
The space
This newly fully renovated (May 2023) private apartment consists of a large bedroom, living room, full bathroom, and kitchen.
The apartment can sleep up to 4 guests, with a queen sized bed in the bedroom, a convertible couch (can be converted to a full sized bed) in the living room, and a queen sized blow up bed with extra linens, if needed.
The property is located in a very quiet and safe area of Northwest DC with easy access to both buses and the Metro for exploration of downtown DC.
The living room comes with a 55-inch Smart TV, where you can relax and stream all your favorite shows. The 4-seater dining room allows you to share a meal with friend and family in your home away from home. The fully stocked kitchen with brand new appliances (refrigerator & electric stove) allows you to the option to cook.
There is also a computer desk and chair for when you need to get some work done and the high speed internet will help facilitate that.
Lastly, the electronic door lock allows your to come and go as you please and if there is free street parking if you brought a car.

My wife and I were visiting our daughter for the weekend. The apartment was clean, well maintained, and cozy. It came with coffee and everything we could need. The on-site parking in back was a big plus for us. The host was so nice and communicated very well. A plus experience!

Walking up to the door was intimidating as the grass along the walkway was about a foot tall. Opening the fridge was a mouse dripping on door shelf, some spoons in drawer were dirty,water in bowls in cupboard, carpet had big stain. Only
1 bath and 1 hand towel per person. Used dishcloth for face. It could stand a good overall cleaning. Used toilet tissue for Kleenex and napkins. Appreciated washer and dryer.
