About this house rental
Relax in the shade of centuries-old trees, enjoy the coolness of the stone walls of this late-19th-century property, and recharge in the peaceful atmosphere of this unspoiled natural setting. L'Envolée Sauvage is a holiday home surrounded by meadows and forest, with a one-hectare park, century-old trees, a large saltwater swimming pool, an organic vegetable garden and a few chickens for morning eggs. This charming rental is ideally located in the Tarn on the Bastides Albigeoises circuit, 4 minutes from Cordes sur Ciel, close to Albi and Gaillac and 45 minutes from Toulouse.

Three 35 m² bedrooms on the ground floor, each with its own entrance through large bay windows overlooking the garden and pool, quality bedding and linen, full bathroom, television and air conditioning.
A living room with kitchen, dining room and two sofas.

We had a really lovely time! The rooms are nicely furnished, the kitchen well equipped, and the pool is a delight. We especially enjoyed barbequeing and sitting outside late at night under the stars! Lovely rural location but lots of villages and town to visit nearby too. Highly recommended.

The property adjoins the host’s house, but they are extremely discreet and you barely see them other than pottering about feeding the chickens etc. and they are extremely nice people.
The pool is heated, salt water with an electric cover so very easy to use. The rooms are not connected internally, so you do need to go outside to go in and out of the rooms. Except the master which is connected internally to the kitchen/living area, and one room is up a small stair case to the side of the property. None of this mattered to us, it made it more charming and my children enjoyed the independence. The area is fab with lots of activities within half an hours drive. There is a friendly cat which delighted my whole family.
The beds, linens and towels were beautiful. Luxury and the beds were big and comfortable.
We ate most evenings at the table on the gravelled area, enjoying the stars, there is a great bbq which we used a lot. And sat by the pool in the evening. It is a gated property so felt very secure, although in that area it wasn’t a concern it’s a very gentle sleepy area. Can’t recommend more highly. It’s a beautiful place and we will be going back
