About the home

“Red Rocks Villa” is a delightful pet friendly home away from home. Shopping for supplies or finding a yummy meal couldn’t be easier, with two full supermarkets and a large selection of shops, cafes and restaurants located within a 5 minute drive. Some of the features of this lovely home are detailed below:

Indoor Areas

“Red Rocks Villa” is a single-storey home, with a large, open-plan area comprising of a modern, fully equipped kitchen, a roomy dining area, and a spacious, air-conditioned living area with a wood heater (firewood not provided) and a large tv (with cd and dvd player) as well as a second living area with a pool table and comfortable sofa, another tv and sound system. Off the living area are four bedrooms, the master bedroom has an ensuite with shower, basin and toilet, the main bathroom (with bath & shower), a separate toilet, and a large laundry.

Outdoor Areas

The sunny undercover back deck, which is accessed through the living room, overlooks the fully enclosed rear and back garden where children and pets can safely play. You also find a 10 seater dinning set as well as a gas bbq on the deck. There’s also a hot & cold water shower. The home delivers plenty of parking for cars, motorcycles or boats, with an undercover double carport and a driveway, you can park 3 cars.

Kitchen

The fully appointed kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, microwave, an Aldi pod coffee machine, toaster, kettle, etc. plus a double sink, fridge, dishwasher, electric oven and cook top.

Heating/Cooling Systems

The home has a wall mounted reverse cycle air-conditioning unit in the living room as well as a coonara-style fireplace ( please note, firewood is not provided, however guests can purchase some at the local service station if required). There is also three standalone fans and two mobile heaters for use where required.

Bedding Configuration

This home has 6 beds plus 2 foldout divans, accommodating up to 12 guests:

Bedroom 1: One Queen bed
Bedroom 2: One Queen bed
Bedroom 3: One set of Tri-bunks
Bedroom 4: One set of Tri-bunks
There are also two fold-out divans in the second living area, each suitable for one adult or two children.

Please note: The Tri-bunks have a double bed base with a single bed above it.

Linen

It is common in the region for some linen to be provided for bookings, and some linen to be available as an optional extra. By default, a booking at this home does not include optional linen (top & bottom sheets, bath towels and pillowcases). What is included are doonas (quilts) with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bathmats. If you would like the optional linen included in your booking, please let us know, including which beds you would like it provided for. The additional cost would be a one-off charge of $30 per bed (some sites add a service fee to these costs) - and we prefer 7 days' notice prior to your arrival to get that arranged.

Peak Periods

Please note that during the peak summer period and other peak times, check in times are set as 3pm (unless by prior arrangement). Please also note that if you avail of the optional linen hire over these times, it may involve linen being left out but beds not being made up.

Functions, Celebrations and Schoolies

Please note that the home is not suitable for celebrations, parties or large events. The home also does not take bookings over Schoolies. All bookings are subject to approval, pending Guest verification process - Local council restrictions are in place for this property and compliance is mandatory.

General cleaning was good. However the cooking stove was not clean at all. Also when using the air conditioner, that was found to be inadequate. Luckily my grandson was in the business and serviced and cleaned it, then it worked well.
